This tragedy is a terrible reenactment of the struggle of South African apartheid meets Rwandan genocide in the sense that one grave injustice after another, when allowed to go unchecked, can lead to catastrophic results for a society and a people. Thousands mourn the loss of Oscar Grant, and his death effects communities all over. It is symbolic of the pain inside starving Haitians, slumdogs in India, and it is a wrong that cannot be ignored.
Fight on civil soldiers. Your protest is honor.

Oscar Grant, Oakland Ca - killed on New Years Day after being shot in the back while pinned down (and possibly handcuffed) by another cop. Grant was unarmed.
Adolf Grimes, New Orleans La - killed on New Years eve after being shot 12 times in the back (14 total). Grimes was armed with a legal, registered gun.
Robbie Tolan, Dallas Tx - shot 3 times on New Years Eve after cops wrongfully accused him of stealing his own vehicle in front of his parents home on Dec 31. Tolan was unarmed.

Another demand we should add is to have that officer watched 24/7 so that he doesn't kill himself like some high-powered people do when their world is turned upside down. He can't get off that easy. And when/if he does... we can't five up the fight for change.
