I take it you could call the Alt a Gespenst but I think it depends on where you draw the line. Technically, the Weiss is also a Gespenst [MkII], but I think it's fair to say neither the Alt nor Weiss are categorised as Gespesnts anymore due to the sheer amount of tuning and customisation they have recieved. Speaking of which, the Wild Falken is technically a Huckebein but again, I'm sure it comes into it's own category now.

The point I was making, though, is that the Alteisen doesn't have the ability to do the kick in the games. At least as far as I know. Even normal Gespensts can't do the kick, just the Gespenst S.

Whereas with the Gespy kick the close range unit could just storm through the enemies.

Also, no special attack is capable of chain attacks, the Gespy kick is. That means you could go through whole lines of enemies prety easily with the Alt.

And anything left would get taken out if they tried to attack it.

@zankai4the1ending I'm saying they could downgrade the power of the move to not make it as overpowered. And chain attacks can be evil no matter what attack, I used an ordinary gespenst punch in OG2, with Chain Attack, Valored, and took out a large group of enemies doing around 6k-9k with no weapon upgrades, through granted this was with Kai, but still. Chain attack is amazing for decimating enemies.

The Alt decimates enough enemies WITHOUT chain attacks.

@zankai4the1ending Even Boss Units are easy if you get the Steel Soul, Custom CPU, and Hero Mark items. Which one set of them can be obtained by defeating the inspectors on stage 15 (which is a bitch).

@rexurtiser The moves of Genspenst are designed by elite pilots and coded into the machine in order to make pilots' lives easier. All you have to do is pressing the button and the Gespenst will do all the rest for you. For example if you press the "punch" button it will use the same punch every time. But in pro hands, of course the other one is better. See Zengar and Folka for reference.
