Hey All...... I'm sorry for the delay in these plans. I have had to many irons in the fire for about two years now! I really started to get the plans in action and then things got real busy again and I guess it is one thing i can push aside (the plans) I have some of the parts in cad and some still in the works. Just wanted put out something nice. Let me see what I can do........ Thanks!!
that grinder is tits , i have had bader , grizly and burr king , how reliable is that machine ? im interested in one , i use a 10" and a 12" contact wheel , i dont need the contact wheels , my shaft6 size is 5/8 , let me know thanks .. Don Shipley ,
@bluecrush4x4 Cool sander, however from a safety point of view there are to many rotating parts that can make for a bad day at the hospital. Some kind of guard over the varius belts would make it a lot safer. My hat off to you for rest.
Is there going to be an update with build ideas or plans? I know that you said your were working on it about 7 months ago and just thought I would check up to see if you had gotten around to it. Thanks --TMFA
@bluecrush4x4 This is brilliant! Can't wait to check out the plans. Will your plans include a materials list? Especially curious as to the wheels you are using and the total cost.
Great work on the Belt Grinder. I am planning on building one this winter when things slow down a bit. Any chance you could make a video going over your design so that we could have a better look at how it is put together and what point should be considered for building such a machine? Thanks -- TMFA
@wilcoxcustom I'll post up a video with some more attention to detail. Duplication is flattering! Go for it.... Mabe you can make an improvement somewhere. I still have a few things to finish up and then I'll remake the video and possibly put out some plans etc. Take Care!!
i was in the abrasive belt business for 20 odd years saw machines from 6 inch wide to 48 inch wide half horse power to 120 horse and yours ranks with the best ,you have slack of belt plattern quick contact wheel chane and portable have you tried 3m trizact belts at all they go down to 2000# finish, brilliant machine market one for the diy market, it is all most people want
Wow........... Thanks!! It was a combination of all the best grinders I looked at and tried to put it all the things I liked in one package. I still have a few more thing I'm going to add when I have time. Eventually, I'll make a new better video and possibly some plans. Take Care!
This is one of the most innovative things I've seen in a long time. AWESOME!

What an excellent design and so well executed. It is such a nicely done job that it is a real pity you did not spray paint it. Well done, anyway.

This is the best Ive seen, I hope you dont mind if I try and duplicate it? The only thing I have a question on is how you adjust the belt tracking?
