@annamarieintex sorry i was not clear from the beginning about who i am. but i can assure you my intensions are good, i am a university student from Canada, i am currently taking medication for ocd and am determing whether i should go off them because of the damaging effects they could have. thats why your explanation about what they did to you ( i know it may be personal) can really help me decide whether i should go the natural route or not.

i cant stop crying i was given all those pills thats posted up there due 2 i was Depressed i didnt know i was supposed to be smiling when i was taken out of my home due 2 being molested they just kept giving me pills after pills because i didnt speak i was traumatized due to what happen to me and i felt like they were labeling me and my sister as crazy because of what happen to use.they put u in 1 neglected home 2 throw u in another people need 2 start listen 2 these kids 2 find out the truth.

Holy cow, that is just terrible... My son is in foster care and I think their drugging him. He used to have the biggest appetite and now he has none at all. He barely eats anymore.. and all of his symptoms speak that he's on ADD meds. He is 4 1/2.

@beanfishy They are drugging him and children your sons age have actually died on those medications or have committed suicide.Let me enlighten you,your son does not have ADD or ADHD.This is actually a fake disease that has no scientific way of being proven that it exists.Ask a doctor.There is no blood test or legitimate other test to prove a child has it.They put my daughter on medications for ADHD and she attempted suicide 3 times while under CPS care.The F.D.A warns about this.

@lonelyangel60 Yes I know, I've looked up all of his symptoms and it points to some type of ADD or ADHD medication and I'm not okay with it but there isn't much I can do about it. He disconnects himself not only from loved ones but sometimes often from reality itself. I really hate foster care, and I hate these people for destroying my family and my children's lives.

@beanfishy First do you have his medical records?Unless your parental rights have been stripped you have a right to his records and all the names and information about what medications he is on.You can actually go to legal aide and have them assign someone to acquire these records for you.Then go after the doctors for medical malpractice.It is considered medical malpractice when you put a patients life in jeopardy or put their health at risk.

I know exactly how he feels I was put in DSHS at 5-16 I was supost to be in state care till 18 but the state of Washington ODed me on pills and thought I was going to die so they sent me back to my grand partents so they could put me in the ground. I lived now I'm 33 and doing good but I feel for you all god will have a place for all of us oneday just don't give up.

The problem with any state sponsored system is that the people who receive the "treatments" are not fully participating in paying for them. Because the payment system is not direct between the carer and the "patient",the system is open to abuse.

If you're diagnosed, get a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th opinion. Keep getting opinions until you get a more legitimate reason for your "illness". Foster kids live in a fishbowl. Things that other kids can get away with as "normal" kid behavior are seen as anti social symptoms of some SYNDROME in a foster kid. If an average kid isn't affectionate with his parents,it's okay but if a foster kids isn't affectionate, he's "unattached". If an average kid is excited, it's just his personality.
