I know, i know... Nolan's movies capture the batman "thing" (whatever it means), they're good action movies (compared to what we need to face these days), they speak to the audience, they're modern and probably something else...

But seriously the 1989 finale with Elfman's music smash all 3 of Nolan's movies and yes, i'm aware that we haven't seen the third one :D

@CRUSADERKNIGHT01 This movie represents the original conception of Batman which was very dark....he was a loner and there was no sidekick. They screwed it up after Batman Returns by introducing Robin and Batgirl and making it a children's movie.

Great track by Elfman, but your video doesn't make much sense at all, it's just random pictures of Batman and The Joker, this theme should use scenes from the 1989 movie or good photos of batman that suits the music, but hey, it's your video, next time put some more effort into it to create something that people actually care to watch.

this was my favorite track! i remember they used it for one of the batman and robin trailers, and it seemed like such an ownage movie (when in reality we all wish it was never made). it's amazing how important the soundtrack is.

I was only 5 when the first movie came out, but I recall this track always from when I first heard it in the trailers for Batman Forever in '95!! Then when I finally saw it at the end of the first movie, wow!! A very moving piece, Thanks for posting!!

@lovefoot09 i totally agree.... this piece is powerful... kim basinger was always remembered beautiful as ever... in this scene walking toward alfred's car with this theme music going.. had a way of really bringing out a beautiful survivor in kim basinger's part of vicky vale.....

lol.. poor vicky.. we all saw her slightly unwilling face expression when she said she isnt surprized over bruce being late.... because of the soundtrack... even beauty to kim basinger's unwillingness... :)
