Chris Russo doesn't know sports, nor does he like sports.. he's a Jerry Lewis wannabe gimmick.. Francessa = substance.. he has a great sports iq.. love him or hate him, his sports iq has to be respected.. and the truth is that he's witty and entertaining and has a great subtle sense of humor.. Stern is old news, and currently a cornball.. Russo kissing up to Stern and backstabbing Mike is a prick move... when the smoke clears, there's no doubt that Francessa is the best there is
@SkorpBX I don't think Francesa is all that knowledgeable either, he just thinks he is. The fact is that most of the guys on the FAN are pretty clueless. But, together, Dog and Francesa were great entertainment. Their personalities were so different that it had something for everyone. I miss the old show.
Mike needs to relisten to the interview the only one dissing Mike in the Howard Stern interview was Howard. God is there no end to Mike's inflated EGO! His show is established so of course it's going to do better. Notice how selfish Mike is to just have the show now all to himself.
You would think these two would be beyond being suckered into petty on air arguments about who is better and what show is better. To be fair Wfan's Mike'd Up has lost it's spontanity and energy without Maddog. Mike is always informative and knowledgeable but the fact is Mike'd Up is a boring daily sports show without Maddog. Together they were Fantastic apart they each have their own loyal fans. i prefer Maddog wish he was on TV like Mike is maybe soon SNY or MSG network?

Russo said quite a bit...took jabs at Mike on the Letterman show, insinuating that Chris was carrying the show and that Mike couldn't.... which is was a moron comment... and he talked a lot of shit on the Stern Show...Stern was taking major shots at Mike, even though Stern has no clue who Mike is... Russo was eating it up and adding to it in his corny backstabbing approach... the fact is that Russo lives on a gimmicky schtick, and couldn't shine Mike's shoes as far as sports are concerned
When Mike mentions at the 8:00 minute mark that Russo is "routing against him" - is just not true -I heard the Stern interview with Mad Dog and he never said those things. I think Mike's overreacting.
