  • It's not Belinda Carlisle who sings it. It's Belinda's Song, but they used another singer for this scene. Belinda sounds a thousand times better.

  • i miss these times!...

i can't really explain to make others understand, but compared to today's shit this is heaven!!!

  • @TomeeDee86 its simple, we'll never admit that we love corny things. miller boyett knew this, why doesnt anyone else!?

  • Crimen Sollicitationis

  • Gosh! The lip-syncing is HORRIBLE!

  • Hell Yeah! Evie Rocks! Maureen Flannigan must return as Evie on screen!

    I miss the 80s and earlly 90s! ;( XD

    greets from Austria

  • WHO IS THIS!?!

  • @chocolatepoundcake Maureen Flannigan, she played Evie Garland

  • I guess she ended up in porn?

  • @Hissmannen lmao!

  • What year did this episode air?

  • I guess they always tried to make singers out of characters on TV shows that kids watched lol. It's weird how I notice that about shows now, but not when I was a kid myself. SMH.

  • That is some really slutty outfit. Looks like she walks the street corner!

OH OH Ohh I just love the 80s!

  • this is from the tv series out of this world

80's pop singer tiffany used to guest star on this show

  • hot girl, beautiful song, very well done :))

  • I love the epileptic dance moves!

  • Ich brauch ne Frau die genau so aussieht wie Evie ; )

  • OK Chreestov so now you know. BTW, what country are you from? And I supposed the people there have better taste than us Yanks?

  • OK Chreestov in answer to your questions-this girl was named Maureen Flannigan. She was the star of an 80s sitcom called Out Of This World (where this clip is from). She played a girl who was half alien and had special powers. It was kinda like Sabrina. The show was never very popular but had a loyal cult following (mostly preteen kids). It's never been released on DVD and is one those shows that time forgot. Maureen Flannigan has been a lot of other stuff, mostly TV movies and series.

  • She was a hotty. But this song is crap

  • This is terrible!

Was she some star in America that the rest of us are just laughing at?

She's like a cheap Vanessa Paradis copy!

Silly Americans, you like anything simple and understandable!

  • LOVE IT

  • good to see this again after 13 years! she's just awesome!

  • Maureen Flannigan is still hot.

  • 'Hell' to the 'fucking' to the 'yeah.'

  • I've heard better singing by William Hung. William Hung!

  • The fact that she was singing this to her dad was creepy!

  • @RedDragon7777 She was not "singing this to her dad", as you say. This was a dream sequence as evidenced by the last 10 seconds of the clip.

  • Damn i can understand why i was totally in love with this girl at the age of 12. She wás (and still is btw) totally hot.

Hope to see a DVD of 'Out of this world' soon, used to love these series just like My Secret Identity in the same late 80's.

  • I know the feeling. Growing up in England, I too had a crush on this girl when I was 12. She is so cute!!!

  • Una versión encantadora de la Carlisle.

  • its fun to see other people doing this song..although she's not as good compared to belinda but i still enjoy her performance.

  • PRETTY SWEET WET REGARDS

  • Still so great to see and hear this again! Brilliant!

  • good song, good serie

  • shes cute!

  • It would be cool to make the TV series Out Of This World into a movie.

  • 1:04-1:18 was the best part. she got the tune!

  • Belinda does it way better :) I was disappointed after watching this.

  • Wow! I remember this!!!

Ive seen just about all the episodes and have a few on good old vhs tape lol.

If I remember rightly, this song bit of an episode was where Evie was having a dream (i think) and her Mum came in and woke her up. Said she had left a light on or something lol.

    Anyone else anymore info?

  • wow..i never knew this was a real song til i heard it in subway yesterday lmao..i just remember it from this show

  • Awesome! I love Maureen Flannigan.

  • Wow Evie,

Those are some crazy dance moves!!

  • I say that actress Maureen Flannigan would make a great singer for her debut album in that episode "I Want My Evie TV!" "Out of This World" has my favorite part during the 1990-91 4th season. She could make a great recording artist.

  • been watching it 10000000000 times ;-)

  • NOpe! It was Belinda Carlisle from The Go Go's

  • OH My Goodness! I'm so old. I loved this song. Didn't Expose do this song too?

  • Hold up, Maureen SINGS???!!!!!

  • I remember this song.

  • where did u find the dvd collection....i loved this show...where can we buy them ..can u let me know!

  • If anyone is looking to buy the 60 episodes mentioned on dvd, message me

  • oh my god. i loved it!!!!!!!!! i mean "Out of this world". Does anybody know which year this is here?

  • How'd you know? Amazing.

  • did maureen flannigan actually sing this?

  • 80's shows were so cheesy. I love it! lol

  • oh my god I remmebr this episode

she sounds like that singer Tiffany

  • oh this brings back so much memories! love it!!! thanks for sharing!!

  • who cares? shes hot !

  • I agree!

  • This is almost as bad as britney's performance

  • I thank she's better than britney, it's cool

  • I think Belinda Carlisle's version sounds a lot better.

  • I loved this show! This is what I think of whenever I see Jason on General Hospital

  • my favorite episode EVER... lol. i remember Tiffany was going to their school and she had a dream that she was singing a Belinda Carlisle song... haha. :)

  • I'd love to see what YOU look like. lol!

  • SLUT? are you sane? Maureen Flannigan DOES not look like a slut at all in this, if anything go look at britney spears or paris hilton if you want the meaning of slut!!! after all this was the 80's and that's the style they were into .. :P

  • Im completely in love since I was 12 .... ufff

  • Thanks for uploading this.

  • I remembered this episode. She has a great voice.

  • Mmmmm, Maureen Flannigan. I fancied her all the way through my puberty lol

  • I think we all did!

  • She is SO miming!

  • omg this sux

  • Damn, she's hot!!! I was too young to appreciate how how she was when the show was on.

  • its great, i miss this show,

  • anybody got any episodes in english? all i found on here was German

  • The original is from Belinda Carlisle?

I dont like this version, Belinda's are still better!

  • I have this song as my mobile phone ringtone.

  • Evie was for the 80s what Sabrina was to the 90s

  • Oh I remember this show all right and really had the hots for Maureen Flanigan back then. Missed the show though!

  • It was on TV in UK, I loved it also and still have most of shows on video cassette. I do not remember this one though.

  • It was in the UK, I LOVED IT, Anyone know if there is any episodes anywhere?

  • Sorry didn't mean to sound rude. I rememeber this show SO well!! (I am such an 80's kid!)

I think the song "Til Then" from out of this world was apart of the 1st episode and this episode was her birthday. I can't remember.

  • Last I heard Maureen Flannigan (Evie) was in 7th Heaven (sometime ago)

I remember seeing her name a while back. Her boyfriend in the show was a hottie!! Chris..something!! (he played on General hospital)

  • But I'd love to see more Evie clips (or entire shows) OR the DVD (I am so waiting for outtakes!)

Donna Pescow (sp?) was on "Even Stevens" as the mom and hasn't changed ONE bit!! She looks the same!!

  • sorry its late 80's Not 90's. like 1988-1989. Was it in the 90's?

  • Was this show in the UK? Trying to remember it!

  • Awesome! More Evie clips pleeease! :) I miss this show
