I dont see whats so wrong with nudity. I mean, it;s not like this is a porno. On the IMDB page its listed under "family" becuase it is a family film. If it's a family film then how come it's only ever on tv, if at all, at midnight? Because our society doesn't like nudity, while they go home and get dressed and what do they see? NUDITY! Why is it such a problem if we all have the same parts and see them on a regular basis but if its in a movie then BAM! Its flagged and deemed unfit for kids.

This is a movie I am putting in my future children's collection. I was first introduced to Kirikou in France and found it so oddly different from the movies American kids watch. Half the crap on American television is just stupid and teaches kids to act like spoiled brats. We should quit sensoring ourselves over nudity and embrace this type of kid's entertainment.

You know, black mothers in the US could learn a thing or two from Kirikou's mama. As small as he is, she trusts him to go out and do what he must do. Unlike many black mothers in this country that baby their sons. Just an observation. :-)
