The villian should had used a Kryptonite cable to tie up Supergirl instead of an ordinary iron cable. Since Kryptonite takes away Supergirl's powers, and can even kill her, she would be unable to break the cable and would be helpless. The frustrated look on the weakened Supergirl's face when she could not break a Kryptonite cable would had been priceless.
