If you were a Chest protector as thin as that, Id say he gets the wind knocked out of him alot. From experience people, get a hard shell chest protector like the West Vest or something similar. Also NEVER wear your hat backwards, they make hats you were forwards. Also, dont wear a blue mask, wear a black one.

Dumbass, never sweep the plate with your ass towards the backstop. You come and after the catcher throws down to second and you position yourself in front of the plate facing the backstop, with your mask in your left fore and middle fingers and sweep the plate clean, not half ass. Then pivot inwards towards the fireld, check ur pitcher, catcher, coaches and players as u put ur mask on on, walk behind the catcher and point with your RIGHT hand towards the mound and call "Play", thats how u do it.

Its hard to understand what you are asking here. But MLB umpires wear all of that protection listed in the video. They wear the chest protector and shin guards under their uniform.
