it may be a good movie, but i cant bear to watch it. I tried to watch 20 minutes of it, but I turned a little green. In the end, I just skimmed trough the movie , and I was scarred for life watching the final minutes of the movie.

I was so freaked out by this movie, and not by the violence, nudity, or gay stuff, but a good portion of it was the Circle of Shit part and that one guy's eye XD

There were questions here about who murdered the director of "Salo: 120 Days of Sodom" (Pasolini). He was gay & open about it. From what I've read he was killed by a lover shortly after completing this movie (which I saw years ago & which I must say is one of the most disturbing films of all time...along with "Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer"). It takes a strong stomach to watch either movie.

Is not true. There are a couple of theories about that... the first is for politician businesses. The second: he tried to recover a stolen tape recorded with scenes of Salo.

the footage was culled from a facets Criterion of the film ... it's the only print of Salo i've seen, so unfortunately i'm oblivious to whether or not it isn't included in the BSI or other prints. the shot comes just after the duke hands out sentencing and just before the last seniora muses on the circle of blood.
