  • My batter came out a bit thick, but I made do. They still tasted delish though!! Thanks for the video! (=

  • @elloabc - You're welcome. I am so glad that you liked them.

  • I made these today, used milk chocolate chips instead of white and they taste wonderful, my family loved them

  • @babylouiesnina - I am so glad that you tried them and everyone liked them!

  • Can we use chocolate chips instead of white chocolate ?

  • @maramiishow - Absolutely - use whatever is your preference.

  • It's soft ? Or it's like a cookie ?

  • @maramiishow - It is a soft cookie. If you wanted it a little crunchier, you could bake them just a minute or two longer and they would probably get a little harder.

  • Nice :)

  • @babylouiesnina - Thank you!

  • You posted this exactly 1 year ago!!!! Im makin em today!

  • @tnBIGthing - I hope you enjoy them! They are really good.

  • i just wanted to say that i've tried a few of your recipes and really enjoy them. i'm new to baking, but you make things so simple and easy to follow that it makes baking really enjoyable! thanks! and have a merry christmas and happy new year!

  • @kerrygirl2003 - Thank you! I am so glad that you are enjoying the recipes. Have a great Holiday!

  • @JaiBoogie531 - Sounds great! Thanks for trying them.

  • Great video...Love these cookies had some yesterday

  • @ComplexFold - Thank you! I am so glad that you enjoyed them.

  • how long do you bake them if you want them crunchy?

  • @MOshiBUu - I would add maybe 2 minutes and then check. If they still aren't crunchy enough, add a couple of more. You just want to watch them so that they don't burn. I hope this helps.

  • Oh yum! These would make great whoopie pies.

  • @tuffydoodle - That is a great idea!

  • lolz .. i juss wanna make a big cookie <3 <3 .. my giant cookie .. bak off .. my precious ..- lord of the rings hobbit voice-

  • @makayla41896 - Hope you enjoy them!

  • THANK YOOOU!!!! My family use to make these for christmas parties. I recently moved across the country and am pretty home sick. But now I'll have something to bring me back! Great idea with the white chips too. Thanks, I can't wait to make them. They look PERFECT.

  • @WatchMeBleedESTK - You are welcome. I hope you enjoy them.

  • do i have to put water

  • @Incaman154 - The recipe calls for 2 Tablespoons of water, so I would put it in.

  • Ah, nice recipe, but your batter is too thin and therefor your cookies come out thin. I like mine a bit thicker.

  • @KEIFERALEXANDER - Sorry they didn't turn out for you.

  • @KEIFERALEXANDER so what changes do you recommend?

  • @KingRockets I would recommend omitting the extra water and maybe lessening the oil. I believe that we usually use a 1/4 cup whenever making a cake mix cookie.

  • I made some today. They are so yummy!

  • @theplatapoos - I am so glad that you enjoyed them!

  • What is the consistency like for these cookies? Are they cake-y or are they chewy? Or something in between?

  • @atheathorium - They are soft and chewy.

  • mmmmmm those look so good im gonna go make some:))

  • @Djday128 - Thank you. I hope you enjoy them.

  • yuummmm

  • @maramiishow - Thanks.

  • 3:59 it looks like a kiss mark on the parchment paper 0.0

  • @LindzeeKeem - Funny!

  • Do we need to use chocolate chips?

  • @LindzeeKeem - I actually used white chocolate chips, but you could probably use any chocolate chips you desire.

  • Hello, I was wondering what was the brand of your cookie scoop? and what size was it?

  • @RoseLNguyen - I just picked it up at the grocery store, so it doesn't actually have a brand name on it, but it is approximately 2 Tablespoons. I know that Pampered Chef has one and it would be their medium one. Hope this helps.

  • @lynnsrecipes Oh..I thought in the video it was one tablespoon?

  • @RoseLNguyen - It just says rounded spoonfuls. You can make them smaller or larger. Just depends on how many you want to make. You can adjust your cooking time accordingly. I always use the scoop when I make cookies because I like them to all be the same size and shape.

  • @lynnsrecipes Thank you!

  • @RoseLNguyen - You're welcome!

  • Made them...... DELICIOUS!!!!

  • @mccowanek - So glad you liked them!

  • Never heard of red velvet cookies...yum yum (:

  • im allergic to white chocalate and was wondering if you could use dark?

  • @absolutlynovids - Any kind of chocolate would be delicious in these cookies.

  • This looks delicious Lynn! Great recipe and video! Happy New Year to you and yours...

  • @usafireandrescue - Thanks, Amy. Happy New Year to you, too!

  • Lynn, I will definitely be making these cookies, since red velvet cake is a favorite in my family. I may add some chopped pecans to the mix though.

  • @mccowanek - The addition of pecans sounds great. Hope you enjoy them!

  • Those cookies look yummy, Lynn! Nice video! I'm looking forward to more in the New Year!

    --Betty :)

  • Oh Lynn - what a FAB video!! I'm so glad you made this! What a fantastic idea about the ice cream scooper - I have to try that next time - I just used two spoons but this seems so much easier! I think you are the next Martha Stuart! xoox

  • @BlackLabLover9 - Thanks, Jen. I was hoping I did justice to your recipe. These cookies are super delicious. We couldn't wait to taste them before the video was over. Again, thank you for sharing this recipe with me.

  • oh, that looks so good. do they turn up soft or hard? too bad we don't have red velvet cake mix here :(

  • @pylodol Thanks. They turn out soft. Maybe you could try just a chocolate cake mix. Wouldn't be red, but probably just as good.

  • Those look good I bet they would be even better drizzled with cream cheese icing Thanks for sharing Lynn....

  • @cookietcb2 - You are welcome and the icing addition sounds amazing.
