And to add, this whole false left vs right dichotomy is the reason for many of these problems. People like to pick their side and stick to it through thick and thin. I used to be so sick of seeing Republicans worshiping Bush and defending every idiotic move he makes, and now I see the same thing happening with Obama. I can't criticize Obama without being a right wing extremist and I can't criticize Bush without being a left wing commie because people are too simple to think outside the box.

Chris Mathews is a moron. To him everything is left vs right. I'm a liberal who agrees with a lot of Alex Jones and Ron Paul says, I just don't agree on all of the economic issues. Looking at this documentary, I didn't sense a cultural war like this nation had from 1950-1980. I think it was based on the role of the government to allocate resources to certain undesirable groups in American society. It was also based on people

worrying about America's place in the world. Just conservatism and far left liberalism

is not going to improve our standing in the world.

Notice how no one actually talks about the issues that make these fringe movements so viable and popular. How the cult-like campaign that Obama had running on issues, ALL of which he has done the exact opposite of what he said he would do.
