  • This fish was netted, and then not given any revival time; it most certainly died.

  • And you know this because you were there?

This footage is cut into clips-You do not see the whole story (ie you do not see the hook being taken out!!!). Make comments please but if you do make sensible comments

  • what's the name of the 1st song?

  • i've fished this beautiful river. parts of the river is expensive but some land owners have fishing and lodge for a good price. fab place really nice people and unreal fishing

  • hei jeg er norsk å jeg lurer på om du vet hvaslags lur jeg skal bruke når jeg havfisker.

  • I'm glad I live in America. Where fishing is open to the masses. I hope we don't become like Europe where only a select few can enjoy the the natural resources availiable.

  • Here some facts. Fishing is open for the masses in most of the rivers and beats. But our problem are those fu**ing american companies -loaded with big cash, which buying up good beats. So is it in Iceland, and Kola.......

  • Ha ha. Nice wish. I do not think there is a single Atlantic Salmon River in the world where you can walk to a pool and fish it. Alta is the most expensive Salmon River in the world so you may have picked a bad starting point. Gaula is extremely nice.

  • Newfoundland, Canada has the most easily accessible and productive Atlantic salmon rivers. If you're a resident, it's only $25 to fish hundreds of excellent rivers. Non-residents have to pay much more and must hier a guide. The main strength of the fishery there is that there are NO privately owned watersheds. This is very unique in the world.

  • Cool video. I read a whole article on another Norwegian river, the Alta River. From the sounds of it, it was super exclusive, only for the wealthy and elite, and surrounding native people. Is this river the same? Can you just walk into any pool or do people "own" the river?

  • Bridge Pool on the Gaula. Amazing spot. Nice fish
