It takes about an hour for it to ascend to the max peak, and about an hour and half for it to land I think most of these payloads are still constructed out of styrofoam, not anything metallic besides some equipment. This is just a precaution in case when a plane hits the payloads, there is no damage to the plane. Also, styrofoam provides good insulation.
how long does it take to asend and desend and do you need some regulations to launch one?
