Cold War ended on a draw, Korean war is simply on hold, Vietnam was more of a loss as we were being slaughtered as much as the enemy, and the last Iraq war just kinda ended. Look up Japanese American Internment camps in WW2. Many were imprisoned whom were american citizens born in the United States in the early 1900s. Losing all your possessions especially family heirlooms, businesses and homes. Then getting a measly 10,000 check for your whole family as you are ridiculed for being a "Jap" or "Japo" Yes it is insulting to be an American yet not recognized as one. Being neither accepted by Japan or America.

@simplyskilled Actually, vntiger is correct. Many innocent people were killed abroad. Whole communities were bombarded to kill maybe a handful of guerrillas. Also, villagers were also killed because of guerrillas disguising themselves as normal Vietnamese people and then killed the Americans in their sleep while they rested in the village. So, maybe nothing could be done but to kill some villagers, but i'm sure we did more killing than absolutely necessary. There's always the ruthless people.

it's funny how hollywood never show movies of the American war in a Vietnamese point of view. It's always the tough American Rambo killing everything that movies in these moves. Not that I like to see killing of American but it's tiresome seeing American killing everyone else. I assume it's to subliminalize the citizens that war is great and we always win. So American people will volunteeringly register themselves to serve in the army. So much propaganda to join the army these days.
