I liked this song when first released soon after I graduated from high school in Cupertino, CA. Ironically, several of my old-time friends and I went to see "Bad Teacher" yesterday. When this song played we all start singing the song. We were lost for the moment we were in the movie theater. Some of the younger people starting cheering us on. After the movie they asked about the song. We told them the song is from 1980. They were amazed we remembered the lyrics.
Thanks for posting this! I loved this song when it came out and totally forgot about it until last night - they used it for the opening titles of "Bad Teacher".
You know this song reminds me of the time my teacher offered my best friend Bob extra credit. When school was over I decided to ask the teacher if I could get some extra credit. I opened the door and I caught my freind and the teacher having sex on her desk. I then realized "oh she meant the XXXtra Credit."
thanks to bad teacher , i found this awesome song.
