I'm pretty sure this was BRUCE's first mothership. The date is about right as is the fact he was hung up on a gate. The idiot in question came back from the pub completely smashed and decided to solo a gatecamp. He wasnt on voice comms and IIRC we only found out the fight was going down when one of out pilots randomly jumped in and saw what was happening. Alliance leadership were not amused... This noob hadn't even smartbombs fitted...You only came with Carriers, and Carriers are = Drones, Smartbombs = boom the Drones....

He had smartbombs fitted. First order of the FC was "Keep him on the gate so he cant use his faction smartbombs". Within 5km of a celestial smartbombs cant be used.

btw another thing carriers carry allot of drones, they probable sent out a couple of fighters and some drones in the beginning and let them get crushed, after that they can let all that they've got for about 10 minutes before the smartbomb recharges, it's one of the basics of titan killing.

well its obvious that the mom pilot is a moron, bringing it to Syndicate without escort or even a losy cyno alt. I mean moms are immune to ewar, so all he had to do was jump out unless the enemy fleet had a HIC.

On the other hand why bring 10 caps to blow up 1? We were able to bring down a mom with 2 carriers, a dread and few BS's.

this was years ago, all they had back then were light Dictors. Pretty much they just spammed bubbles (the mothership keeps getting bumped from the bubble spam) and other support bump the super cap so it cannot warp. That was the only way to kill sup caps back in the day.

Um no, its real because i tried to get on the killmail and in my desperation, i failed to pick a ship with a fit lol, check our killboards, this isnt the first time we have killed a supercap and it wont be the last.

clearly you have never fought a mothership. Without support they are not 'owning' anything fast. A lock time of fail plus killable dps means killing a solo mom is not hard.

Huzzah's power here is not in killing it, but tricking it into being alone within 5k of a gate, which sealed its fate

train for a battleship and do missions till u get to L4 missions or go mining in low sex both are bouring buy pirating isnt profitable or do what i do join a anti marco alliance and rade farmer missions and marcos our corp can make upto 2-3 bill in a good months

to start if you going mothership that means you will need fighting experience and alot of money. So to get both i suggest missions

nah il probably go for drednaughts or other cap ships.

and yeah when i first started i rushed to get upgraded ships but as i progress i realise that a bigger ship means nothing if you dont have the skills n weapons to attach to it..

Most mothership pilots like myself use a alt for there mothership and have a main for normal PVP. Motherships are made same as carriers and dreads at a POS in 0.0. Motherships fully trained with carrier lvl 5 can use 20 fighters, imune to EW, has a large tank ability and so on. i could go on but its best you read up on it and find out for yourself and start with flying a normal carrier. A proper fitted mothership can be 35-45 billion isk as well.
