Awesome, but scary !!! Peregrine falcons are such fascinating birds... :-)

I miss Mariah and Kaver :-(

But I'll try to concentrate on the two newcomers.

She is an awesome mother. She gave birth to five ayeses this year and they are all doing incredibly well. Unlike most animal mothers who bring food for the babies to scramble for, Mariah actually makes sure that each one of them are eating. When Kaver (father) catches food, he normally cleans it (removes feathers) and just throws it at the young ones. So Mariah steals it from him so she can monitor them to make sure they all eat.

Yeah, Mariah was PISSED! Check out the other videos where she attacks members of the group who are trying to increase the species from endangerment when they were putting bands on her babies (and put them back with their monther, of course). They had to protect their faces with brooms and their heads with helmets!
