@Creationsofmyown Ninjitsu is the most common form of martial arts that NINJAS used. But, Parkour and freerunning CAME from martial arts. SO did plenty of dance moves,
"Ninjitsu is the most common form of martial arts that NINJAS used."
not true at all. ninjutsu is espionage, infiltration, survival, and sabotage. definitely NOT a martial art. not in any way.
parkour and freerunning came from people. there is nothing martial about running and flipping and jumping around, im also not saying there is anything wrong with that, you unfortunately seem to believe it needs to be something that it is not...
@Creationsofmyown Ninjutsu actually was the "style" or philosophy of "martial arts" they used. They were very agile, flexible, and athletic. They Didn't walk around like normal people, in their uniforms, obviously. They did climb, run, and hide in very unobvious places. Hell, many modern dance moves CAME from martial arts practice when a group was captured and put in prison. When the guards asked them what they were doing, they replied they were dancing. Learn your history,
"Ninjutsu actually was the "style" or philosophy of "martial arts" they used."
NO it was not... there is NOTHING in the historical record even slightly resembling anything to do with martial arts. your out of luck, what you are quoting from IS touted as fact in books written during the ninja craze.
"hey Didn't walk around like normal people, in their uniforms, obviously" that is exactly what they did. baka
@Creationsofmyown In training, no. They did not. What is your current training? And Yes, it was. And Heres some cited information. I think watching a video is much easier for you to learn from rather than reading books /watch?v=Bo2q6_LNidk
what does my training have to do with this? ah right, absolutely nothing.
the video links to a bit done on the bujinkan, one of the many organizations teaching fake ninjutsu. this school, has NEVER provided documentation for the lineages it claims, despite claiming to have the paperwork.
i suggest you check out the video in my favorites... check out the rest of his videos, he works entirely from the historical scrolls to uncover EXACTLY what the shinobi were about.
I am open minded, if you believe it is "fake ninjutsu" I am more than willing to be educated. But is this your opinion or do you also have cited info. p.s. the videos looked strange. .
this is break dance not martial arts

i mentioned the scrolls, he is using them to source his video series. mainly the bansenshukai, the ninpiden, and the shoninki.
the translations are availabe at ninpo org, but i dislike the way they are done.
it would be easier to actually WATCH a video, instead of commenting back to me after 3 minutes, clearly not enough time to watch even 1.

Thank you for the citing. As for me watching the video, I did? One video is 0:55 seconds, and the other is a minute long.
