The ONLY thing anyone needs to know about getting into the Top 100 Global list is to appeal to American 12 year olds. Fred is a clear indication of the level of maturity on YT if it were upto me YouTube would be an 18+ only website

The vlogbrothers promote everything a lot, and well, and I am glad for it, because I get the info, get reminded, and can participate in many ways: get Paper Towns, get the collab album, put notes in copies of the books, go to the book signing in my area,(it was a blast), watch them talk about it all on their videos,etc. So, I say, go for promotion -it's a good service because I want to participate and get great stuff!
