well the trick is in ur thumb.

after mastering it i realized its releasing pressure through ur thumb by bending it twards ur card capturing hand.

yeah, you built up pressure by bending the cards. Imagine that you are scratching something, or that you're closing you fist but not too much. I saw these two videos and I was able to do it in under 30min practice. You should do it in about the same time :)

it works better if instead of putting your thumb on the center of the bottom and three finger on the top

you tilt your hand and put your thumb on the lower right hand corner and your pointer finger on the left upper side, your middle finger on the corner and your ring finger on the top left part of the cards

it comes out better
