cobo hall love these guys, I am glad enough that i was able to go concerts when they where only 10 bucks! and just about the music , got the stubs to prove it
Blast from the past and memories of the listening to the LP "Full House" and these classic songs, and for sure in a depressed 2009-2010 if these guys out there can bring some smiles than I'm all for it. Kudos to my Detroit brothers and SISTERS!

WOOBA GOOBA! Best live band ever! No makeup, no hairspray and don't need pyrotechnics to awe, just raw energy! Saw them at Pine Knob and COBO a few times in the '80s and a couple nights at DTE in July of '99 after a 17 year hiatus and it was like they never left. Bummed that I missed this show. DETROIT will always be their home away from home. ...YEAH, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!!
MC5, thanks for the response. When I saw them in '99, I was talking to a fan who said Bladd has retired to spend more time with his grandkids. Grandkids! Yikes!
Were you at the 7/11 N.J. show? I was, and it was a blast! Woofah Goofah is still in fine form, and Magic Dick is a force on harmonica! They played 2 hours and 10 minutes, and it seemed like 5 minutes.
Nah, I think Seth is pretty much a chrome dome now! Looks as if he shaves his head. It's stylish, especially with the Kangol beret.
This is great news to find out that the boys are still performing! I saw them at Saratoga Springs in 1999, and they put on a terrific show! I've been a fan of the band since '82; hope there's a tour this year! Thanks for posting the clips. Seth Justman without hair! Whoa! Is Stephen Bladd still the drummer? He wasn't on the '99 tour.
Stephen Bladd was MIA .....maybe he'll get on board if there are more shows (didn't play at the 7/11 NJ show either). Why do you think Seth has no hair ??
Am pretty sure he does, lol, it's just changed color.
Top shelf show--great crowd, great theater. Peter Wolf stayed back after the final of 3 encores and thanked Deetroit for all those years.....I don't think he wanted to leave the stage....I was near the front, but turned around to see the crowd mayhem--how awesome it must of felt to them all to step back in after all those years off just blow the Fillmore UP!
Pure energy from the first note to the last. Wolf hasn't lost a step, Magic Dick was on fire, DK was well....DK , J was on the money and I think I saw Seth shed a tear when it was over, I know I did. What a great show, well worth the wait, Thanks for sharing.
Great show, glad to see them again, they were and still are great, thanks for the video. Where were you sitting we had balcony c row a seats 1234 looks like a similar view. Post more if you have it. Thanks again.
