  • I made 713% during the 2008 Market Cash, you make money going down too. There's a lot of dumb money out there that people don't deserve to have. Don't be made cause your stupid.

  • @peruface did you short the market or what?

  • Peter, palladium is going to worth a hell of a lot because it is used for Cold Fusion. Look it up yourself and you'll see how the technology is used and in development

  • If I live in the US I would definitely vote for Peter Schiff, he is one of the very few who really understands what is happening in the world now.

  • A knowledgeable idiot - How will he get rid of corporatism without a strong government with the right policy. Some of the corps have bigger economy than many countries

  • Hell I'll vote for him even If I don't live in Connecticut.

  • If I was still living in CT, I'd vote for Schiff over Dodd.

Heck, I'd vote for the guy who operates the french-fryer at McDonalds over Dodd.

  • Great insights Peter.

  • I hope Peter stays out of politics. It is too confining. Powere is shifting to the net anyway

  • While the new society is in the dark interacting with their glowing screens, people in the physical world are conspiring to own them. We need physical presence on the outside. Peter will be a voice no matter. But he will have extraordinary power as a Senator. Until the world collapses..pleasepleaseplease...engagement with the enemy is avoided at our own risk.

  • agree with everything, but not sure about china. they have a employment and housing glut, and if exposed to real market forces, could collapse and have huge unemployment. i know china makes sense at a peripheral level, but theit middle class is purely an euntrpreneurial class, and may not grow fast enough to sustain a US type monetary expansion..

  • I hope he runs . He could definitely win.I hope this SOB dosnt give up. If we had more guys like him in there This country would be alot better off. Hes not afraid to go out on a limb and speak his mind and shake things up.

  • I think Schiff clearly knows the government is intentionally running the country into the ground. He has to appeal to the mainstream otherwise they'll just call him a nut. I think a lot of people are aware that the government is doing this intentionally but many just bury their heads in the sand.

  • Schiff implies, at times, the gov't doesn't know what they are doing...I disagree, I think they know *exactly* what they are doing...

  • I agree & I don't like it. I would prefer that they didn't know.

  • Peter Schiff for president!!!! This guy is a true free market capitalist.

  • It is time for all of this financial and political jargon to be put to an end. A Countries power is decided by the state of its economy which means the government has a vested interest in all business. Further more our economy promotes planned obsolescence because of the fact that to run our economy we need to consume goods and services. its a redundant cycle that results in bankruptcies, the unemployed, and mass pollution. We should all be pushing for a resource based economy.

  • what on earth is a resource-based economy? is there some economy that has no basis in resources?

which economy doesn't need people to consume any goods and services?

    what are you talking about?

  • We need Peter schiff in the Senate

and we need Rand Paul in the senate!

  • Your anger over corporations, including big pharma, is misdirected at the free market. The market is impersonal.

The principle at hand is corporate ownership of our government. To that extent the populous should educate themselves and vote at the polls and with their dollars. The problem is an apathetic and uneducated populous.

The problem is not greed. You can not legislate against greed, racism, or other "thought crimes." You can only legislate against actions.

  • i think your right, the average American has not a clue. not having a clue is going to start hurting

  • "Frankly, I'm ready to give up on ya'll ya'll "

By all means, please do. .45 caliber works really well. Just be sure your brain matter spreads where it makes good fertilizer.

  • なんかむずいねー

  • "How Medical Boards Nationalized Health Care" by Henry Jones is an article at the LvMI site. It concentrates on the supply side(rarely discussed) of healthcare and sheds even more light on how the free market can hardly be blamed for the current healthcare mess.

  • I also think the intention of this fake rally is to send out a message to people that its a safe haven for your money but when the time is right, the bankers will pull the rug out from underneath you and take you for everything youve got. They are looting your country in broad daylight, right in front of your eyes. Anyone who has money in US stocks is crazy.

  • Peter Schiff for U.S. Senate...

Let's give him the support and fiat to get him into the Senate...

    Schiffathon. com

Sign up for the August 7th Money Bomb..

  • thanks peter!

  • I'm starting my own country.Things are out of hand!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • C'mon our entire medical industry is flawed because it fails to address that we are what we eat. Raw food cures all disease. The root of all these diseases is eating poisenous food day after day accumulating toxic amounts of indigestible debris.

  • Lol, the music is cool.

  • People forget that doctors are people, they make mistakes, and they're 'practicing.' If we change our healthcare industry, we need to change our legal industry as well.

  • dont agree. doctors that swrew up doctors should held accountable to the utmost! thanks peter.

  • The government has the best brains in the business - they CANT be this stupid, they know exactly what they are doing.

  • That is the belief but you cannot listen to everything they say. Most people are not that smart.

  • Im not saying I believe a word they say, I think they have an agenda that is not made public to us and that they are very smart. They know for example they are creating inflation - the question is why would they want that? Benanke cant be that stupid that he doesnt realise he is creating inflation - hes a professor of economics. They know how to manipulate it and they are doing it for a reason, on purpose and not through stupidity. They are engineering this collapse in my opinion.

  • I would like to suggest to you Fever that the government has the most corrupt brains....not the best. That said, it's easy to make money and give people the illusion of "genius" by simply sacrificing any ethics. There are rich thieves parading themselves around like "businessmen" all over the place.

  • Has anyone read about the governments " missing trillions ", the trillions of missing dollars unaccounted for and unexplained by the governments books? Could this money be being used by the elite bankers to manipulate the stockmarket? The dow went over 9000 today and most of us know the economy is a total mess and nowhere near being fixed - how else do you explain this massive rally in such dire economic times? If they crash the economy, they can buy up assets dirt cheap and build their empire

  • that's a great fucking theory, never saw it like that... nice

  • I'd like a single (patient) payer , make the insurance bought by you be a deal between you and that company .

  • Peter,

You need to simulcast these on the internet via "selfcast" or something like that too so people listening in on the internet can call in too. Plus we won't have to buy a shortwave radio.

  • the wall street un-spun music is my favorite part of the show!

  • the truth machine!

  • personally I prefer Peter schiff outside the system doing what he does best, namely launching cruise missiles at the tangle of political lies and deceit. Whats the point in spending 20 mil to become just another gas bloated talker in the pox ridden body in the system of the degenerate political elite. IMO the end result will be either corruption, delusion or death. Sorry for the cynicism but Obama was the last straw in my misplaced messianic belief

  • there are no brokerages in Cuba and there were none in USSR. If we are going were we think we are going, Peter is taking the right steps.

  • What is the interest (usury) rate used for?

  • Awesome he uploaded this to his channel.

  • Chris Dodd is the most corrupt, deceitful, greedy, defiant, and delusional piece of crap on the Goldman Sachs payroll.

  • Economy - After what the banks did, how do you expect people to react?

They feel helpless against Wall Street and Government.

    They want something, anything.

Like people were willing to take the Bush $350 refund the thinking is "something is better than nothing."

That's how the US is now, it's our "new" culture and the majority are resigned to that line of thinking, at least until they are hauled off to the FEMA camps.

  • Our ignorant fellow citizens are too consumed with their own self absorption to stand against our satanic, psycho, fascist, govt. This current crop of people are the reembodyment of the spine less Good German citizens of the 1930s and 1940s. Clint Hershey

  • YOU SAY IT!!!!!!! EXACTLY!!!!!!!

  • well, I think they are finally waking up. The toothpaste is out of the tube. Gallupcom has Obama at 55 %., wow , lowest ever...

  • really lowest ever? He will rebound as most of the stimulus money is set to get into use coincidentally around 2010, midterm election time.

  • by then we will have Alt-A reseting, :)

  • Money Problems- Audit the Pentagon - Bring ALL The Troops Home From Everywhere! Charge Iraq 3% on all their oil for getting rid of Saddam to pay for the war.

  • Exactly, marniespeaks- and while we are at it, the Pentagon can pay back the $2 trillion Rumsfeld told the US population that was missing from the Pentagon bureaucracy on- guess when.. oh yeah, you guessed it.. September 10, 2001..

  • So if government is not the answer to health care, then what is the answer?

    .

I hardly ever use my insurance; I'm pretty healthy, and still my health insurance premiums go up 26% every year for the last 7 years.

  • go back to free market and competition. Right now everyone is forced into this employer insurance. It is this way because govt gives tax benefits to employers that offer insurance but do not give this same benefit to individuals. That is why it is so expensive to go on your own.

Right now doctors have no incentive to compete on prices because the patients dont care what they pay because a third party is paying for almost everything. That is a recipe for rising prices.

  • did you listen to the show?

Peter does a great job of explaining what needs to be done. he also explains it with commentary on his web page.

out of pocket payment for everything that isn't catastrophic.

    medical malpractice tort reform.

high deductible major catastrophic ins. only.

if the govt takes over healthcare, it will become more expensive (through subsidies and higher taxes) and more inefficient just like everything else the govt tries to run.

    see medicare and VA hospitals.

  • Thank you for the reply.

    .

My deductible is already $4000. I've never exceeded my deductible in any year.

What should my high deductible for major catastrophic ins be? $20,000?

  • I think it would be wise to look into quotes @ 20K, 30K, all the way to 100K.

With the system we have in place, healthcare costs are out of control for the people that actually pay their bill because there are so many that DON'T pay their bill.

That creates a possibility for you (or any of us) to get stuck with medical bills that could reach well over 100K. At that point, you may be looking at medical BK.

You really need to figure out what you have to loose before you can answer your ??.

  • Thanks for posting this!

  • Ah, glad you put this up here. Used to download it and listen, but then I got too lazy.

  • Bernanke - Audit the FED

    HR 1207 and S 604

  • I talked to an in-the-know congressperson and was told Pelosi and Reid will not allow either Bill on the floor no matter how many people sign on.

People have to start calling Pelosi and Reid - not sure they will care, but they are the brick wall to airing these Bills.

  • If he debates anyone in his run for senate- I'd buy pay-per-view to see it...

    Schiff v. Dodd?

    that would be incredible.

  • I would pay good money to see Schiff debate Dodd on monetary policy. lol Dodd would never agree to it.

  • Insurance - they didn't have MIRs, Mammograms, ways to catch cancers quick, AIDs -

Are you willing to get rid of those technological advances and allow your loved ones to die?

You're taking a different period in history and applying it to today.

That's like taking the first bypass surgery and applying it to the middle ages who regarded illness as demons.

    Let Us Spray!

  • Remember that many medical advances in technology assist in early diagnosis and also increase efficiency.

Medical costs should go down in such a case, but because there are so many hands in the pie and so few reasons to keep costs down (and the steady loss of purchasing power) we wind up paying more.

Costs go up in whatever field the government gets a grip on, and health care and energy are next.

Prices will continue to rise because it keeps you beholden to government/bankers/etc.

  • computers were supposed to make our lives easier

more leisure time - Americans now work more hours for less pay and we are one big ball of stress chasing... few know anymore

It's really a cultural thing - times change and no matter what the good idea was in the past that's going to change too

I don't think you can blame government, I think we all need to point the finger at the guy in the collective mirror

Frankly, I'm ready to give up on ya'll ya'll

  • Many people work from home because of their computer. I do. I work less (and earn less) than many people my age. I also spend less frivolously and have more leisure time than most.

It all comes down to personal choice and in that sense we'd all do well to look in the mirror and assess our contribution (both positive and negative) to our individual situations, and also to the situation at large.

This is especially true for those in government positions.

*** If you "give up on me" I'll be fine.

  • "I'll be fine."

    everyman for himself

  • "I'll be fine"

I don't require you to assist me.

  • I'll remember that when you get hit by a car - good luck on your island

  • Why does my desire to handle my own life make you want to punish and criticize me?

Why has one accepting personal responsibility for ones own life become synonymous with wanting to be alone, or being against helping others?

I simply prefer to deal with things as they come along because it helps me evolve and makes my life more worthwhile. It cultivates wisdom and builds confidence.

When people have their hands held and their heads patted through life they often wind up helpless and dependent.

  • so you're saying you make your own clothes, grow your own foods, develop your own medicines, etc...?

you're hand is being held everyday when you walk out your door.

  • Bad comparison. I trade my labor for money which I then trade for those things. That's not handholding, that's leveraging what you have to offer to get what you need. The government just gives people things without them offering anything in return except for their compliance.

  • you are paying $30 for a shirt made by someone who receives .49 an hour and works 15 hour days 7 days a week.

you also receive roads, water, garbage removal, police, transportation, education, medicine, advances in medicine, keeping disease at bay... etc

all of those things made possible by tax payers through the government. Your hand is held.

  • I own a toxic chemical company and just bought a piece of land behind your house to bury what I don't need and can't use or sell and there's no government to stop me.

now, how's that workin' fer ya?

  • Marnie,

If you think that the gov't will protect you from a toxic chemical company (?); you are delusional.

If that company has enough money to buy off the governement they will put that toxic dump behind your house like it or not.

The state does not have your best interest at heart.

    -nsms

  • trust no one.

  • marniespeaks - Are really that stupid. Or just a child? It is called the LAW, and if someone pollutes your water table, or caused damage to your property or self than you can stop them by suing them. Its called the U.S. Constitution, you can read it sometime if you like.

  • other than calling people's names I guess you are pro government

And do tell me where exactly in the Constitution does it says you can't pollute?

  • Its a fantacy to say we "receive" police services, education, medical services etc. for our taxes. I quit paying $500/month med insurance premiums that pays for non-paying illegals med. care; police presence takes the form of speed traps while criminals & motor cyclist street racing run rampant here; teachers teach feminism (anti-male philosophy) & birth control for 3 hours a day I don't consider education. Get real.

  • Looks like you gots to learn how to compete in this new economy, work for less. Let's hope none of them illegals give you swine flu, tb or pee in your food. There's one good thing, however, with all that birth control we're pretty safe any future offspring you have won't breed.

  • You mean the taxes that I PAY? I guarantee you I get less out of the government than I put in.

  • all the technology and roads and water filtration and military and police and firefighters and electrical wires and garbage and sewage, you can afford all that on your own without any help, that's pretty impressive.

  • Senate Race - when you have private corps funding these races unless you have your own capital like Romney or Perot or some big money influential friends this is what you're up against.

Rather than CFR or public funding only I guess that's just part of the free market, Pay to Play, right?

    shame really.

  • Peter tells the truth again.... Complete genius. Finally someone who knows the real problem. These broadcasts are essential to listen to IMO.

  • Good your posting it now Peter. I dont have to search for Unspun anymore. Thanks

  • Share the vid to all your friends.

  • first!

  • Peter, You're funny!

  • you certainly are!

  • Peter Schiff FTW!
