I went to Galloway park last year and saw UFO's. We went camping for 4 days. No car. Just on foot. Me wife, kids, and dog. Lots of hassle in the day time but worth it at night. 3 UFOs first night. Loads more the second and third night, although not as close.
For those that dont know Galloway has DARK SKY status and the amount of stars you see is imense. I know there are doubters but i saw these when the iceland volcano had erupted... but we didnt know that cose we were in the woods. Loved it

Can't understand why someone using a decent DV camcorder cant get better footage,instead of the usual zooming in & out & wobbling all over the place which spoils all these types of captured images.I'm not saying it's not a UFO,in the true sense of that acronym,but putting X-Files type music on it doesn't give it any more credibility.A small lightweight tripod really isn't hard to carry,any pro photographer will confirm it as the easiest way to get better images.
Not sure you could get better footage with hand held,and when useing zoom.you could post a video up lets say film moving a car 50mh at 400 meters for 200meters i look forward to your video.

The diamond shape formed on top of the object is probably the internal iris aperture of the camera trying to focus.The way the object forms a barrel type shape and seems to almost cloak is quite remarkable.
all it is, is a drawing on a piece of paper and you just zoom in and out to get a good angle then move the camera about to give the sense of motion...
this looks legit this is deffinitly 100% real good job also these ufo's that people spot or very bad there not good there also called "fallen angels" as jack vanimpe on the 700 club says and i do beleive there of satan and they are in the bible!
It's another UFO, those that says it isn't are as blind as they are blinded by their religious faith. In other words, they are programed with lies and just cant WAKE UP!
This is almost certainly the planet Venus (date/time/looking west). It's triangular because of the inexpensive iris in the lens, and poor focus. The roundish, fuzzy, redder "glow" on the underside looks much like spherical aberration caused by the optics. The videographer should have endeavored to get better focus, and zoom all the way back at least once for an establishing shot!

Well, the focus was certainly changing, to the point where several times it went out so much as to make the "object" invisible due to extreme blurring. May I ask you to try an experiment? Low in the southwestern evening sky is the planet Jupiter (brighter than any star). Video it while adjusting focus/zoom to see if you can get the same triangular shape. Thanks!

That object was filmed in a area where there was ongoing ufo sightings taken place i think this was the object people where reporting.
I will try your experiment, if skies are clear will be away this weekend and if i get anyfootage i will post it.
You needn't wait for clear skies. A distant streetlight, say, 1 mile away will do. Or any distant, bright light that would still appear as a point source when the camera is zoomed all the way in. Cheers!
Looked at the North Berwick vid. Focus was LOTS better! I'd not call it an unidentified "flying" object because it wasn't flying--it appeared motionless, and also was twinkling due to low altitude above horizon. Was this looking SW? If so, it was almost certainly the planet Jupiter. It would have "disappeared" within ~1/2-3/4 hour due to setting below the horizon, and sooner if going behind the cloud which you also recorded. In future, please use a tripod (or any form of support)! Cheers!
Hi there, i am sure that the ufo north berwick was not a planet or plane as with all my footage, that object just appeared where there was nothing then it disappeared all in the lenth of footage taken, i was looking down eastcoast so would think it was more southeast i have a tripod but handheld i use when walking and ufo hunting.

I call bollox, the video timer starts at 12:10 with 50 min remaining, it reaches 49 min left at 13:27, 1 minute and 17 seconds later!!! it also runs at the USA standart of 24 frames per second not UK 25
There is nothing wrong with my 'act' so I have no need to get it together! It is a fact that it is almost impossible to record to tape the sort of data that appears on your videos. There are a number of companies who produce after effects such as viewfinder data overlays that attempt to make the original footage look more 'camcorderish'. However it is a dead giveaway. Skywatcher I admire your enthusiasm for UFOs and if people choose to believe in the shots you have - fine. Good hunting!

Viewfinder data is only present at the time of recording and not on the output - unless it has been added later. As a pro cameraman I can spot fake material a mile away. I think YOU should know that.

Everyone. This same UFO has been videod in 2005, in Tallahassee, USA. The original video shooter also claims he saw it move in a shape of a "4" just minutes before he got a hold of a camera, meaning this is probably one of those UFOs who can 'turn on a dime'.

The cam was a samsung 33x optical zoom digital 1200x mini DV, vp-D361 pal,hope this helps.
