Yes they could have made it that way, but in the process they would offend the female population of the game. To make things fair and equal I think that games lore is perfect, gameplay is unique, and the graphics are killer. Rape although is true to the lore, it's offensive to most ppl, and as any company they want to attract ppl of all types not just the lore hungry.

Outside of the graphics & sound the game isnt any better than most MMORPGs.If u played the witcher and didnt like the combat u WONT like this game, the combat was taken from it, really poor, only thing worse is the mounted combat where u can have ridden past ur opponent by 6+ feet and still hit them from that far away with a DAGGER!

I wont even get into how bad the UI is or that Funcom wont support the mod community. They r really archaic when it comes 2 their games & listening 2 the players.

The combat system is nothing like the The Witcher. You just proved you haven't played the game right there. In The Witcher you have to hit the mouse in a given rhythm, in AoC you have to aim for specific spots on your enemy + combo-attack. The witcher's system is closer to WAR than AoC.

I'm a closed beta user and I love the game. It's the best MMO to date no doubt and 95% of the people I've spoken with agrees. The mounted combat is awesome. WoW/WAR has mounts, AoC has combat with mounts.
