It wasn't a photoop. The escort plane was a "red tail" viper out of Alabama, and those are 1 seaters. Where would the photographer sit?

This was either a readiness exercise for some sort of detection technology they wanted to test, a "perk" joyride for a campaign contributor (or Sen. Spector), or some other shenanigans. The photo op excuse does not hold water.
