And that's bot even factoring in his exploratory attitude with a lot of the landscape. I'd say around 18 years...? It'll be the mid-'20s when he finishes! Think of how awesome and powerful our computers will be (Moore's Law) and how good the graphics in games will be, too!

but if he does get to the farlands, its going to be a minimum of 34 days worth of footage if he never stopped. considering he does stop, probably about triple that. if you figure roughly 30 minutes a video, thats 48 videos per day of non stop watching, which means 1632 episodes minimum. xP

The "unplayable" part is a misconception (or so I've read)

The excrutiating lag only happens upon entering the beginning regions of the Far Lands. By the time you get in far enough to see The Loop (or The Stack depending on where you're going) it's less laggy and quite playable, however the physics do indeed fuck up.

It looks like you coming to a time... where you have to build a base camp and restock in supplies. Like I might said before "It would be nice to leave signs around in "hide holes" and "Landmark" sites that are odd or very out of place. Explorers would name bodies of water, mountains, flatland, etc. after themselves or give them names. When your save become download-able in the far future. People could find the sites your explore by seeing your signs. But making signs takes wood blocks..

I think it'd be great to have a visual map of how far you went along with the world file available for download :)

What I mean is that you should use it for the fundraiser and also use it for posting news and such. you could even have a question and comment form people could fill out. Or an hour or episode counter!

Maybe You should consider trying to continue the walk on nights? It would even double the distance walked every episode and so, and would also put your combat skills acquired in the Combat Canyon on test :) There's always a minor risk, but if you keep on relatively open ground there probably won't be any too bad situations.
