  • fell on its face a bit when you hammered it

  • man that's a beast

  • The car runs 9.72. The rear has tubes and new frame rails moved in. The car is currently for sale for $50,000 on Racing Junk.

  • @CudaHemiTom Why would you sell such an Incredible rare machine.

  • @irvinemuscles - The car has been sold! I decided to buy something a little more streetable but still fast. I will post a video of it after I go to Florida next weekend to pick it up. Just imagine V12, twin turbos, 640 hp and 775 torque!

  • @CudaHemiTom Streetable. That term is all relative. Why don't you think the Barracuda was Streetable? My 600hp 393 Windsor with Big Comp Cam street roller is work to drive on street, but fun. I have to put in idle when i come to stoplight to make sure lifters get good splash. I have to foot brake it to get a good launch or it will bog, and I can't go over 65mph on fwy or my revs are above 3500rpm and I eat gas like crazy. I have to get valves adjusted once a year. But i still love it!

  • @CudaHemiTom lambo?

  • @russnord 2005 Mercedes SL600 with aa Renntech Stage 2 package.

  • This is without a doubt one of the baddest ass cars on you tube. I'd give my left Nut for it. Freaking awesome man.

  • I LOVE THIS CAR! Such a sick sound it makes. *fans self*

  • OMG u gotta love that rap when gets up and then comes off the rev, and 7 people are totaly F@*$ed in the head.

  • i came at 0:40

  • damn that sounds fucking bad ass man!!!

  • omg!!!

    the dick of satanas!!!!

  • what kind of carb do u have on it ?

    or is FueI enjected ??

  • @lildevilstudboy69

It is carbureted with 2 770 Holleys

  • that sounds so nice bro.!

  • @DrMMHMD lol, wow

  • @DrMMHMD As far as I know. I checked the VIN # against a build database and I'm pretty sure it was correct. Why? Did that make it a rare car? Did I sell it too cheaply??? :)

The kid who bought it sent me some pictures of the engine compartment. First thing I noticed was that he filpped the breather and put in an oversize air filter....... Man, I miss being 16! :)

  • I like the way it stands up and gets the job done. I miss that feeling...

  • I love this Hemi!

  • That was rear wheel horse power on that. Probaly makes almost 1000 at the flywheel.

  • 6 suckers

  • What a fuckin monster. I love it.

  • what hemi u got in there? it sounds and looks amazing

  • ...and then protect the planet:)

  • 100% American steel

  • Hey Malaka, I'm sorry about the unkind words, And I am supremely impressed with your demeanor.

  • @Navajas440 This is what I'm talkin about. Crash test of a nearly 2+ ton all-steel Chev Bel Air getting owned by a newer Malibu weighing maybe 3500lbs? It's kinda funny...

Search on Youtube: Crash Test 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air VS. 2009 Chevrolet Malibu

  • @malaka1212 Hey!!!! You know damn well in the late 60's Ford was trying to sell safety with better seatbelts and such, Meanwhile, GM and Mopar were selling cars. But I take comfort in knowing a metal bumper is between me and the next car . Not a carbon fiber or fiberglass roll pan!!!

  • @Navajas440 Ooops I was wrong on those dates... they were already performing crash tests in the 60s, GM anyway I dunno about others... This is hilarious!

Search for : General Motors Crash Tests 1960s

  • Anyone who races, knows they're taking their life into their hands, And if they're life means so much to them, they have no business racing, 2605830. I wouldn't expect sympathy if I crashed and died, I did it knowing I could possibly die, hence I don't have sympathy for those who do die. Same with Soldiers, cops, and Firemen.Oh and 'Vettes have IRS and few MOPARS do, meaning, stronger axle for doing the 1/4. , New Vettes don't have a true "driveline" making them unsuitable for drag racing. tsk

  • Muscle cars are not PRACTICAL. They're visceral like Harley's and Barret .50 Calibers for civilians. Know what's great about a Hemi in a A-Body ? Spark Plug access! Know what sux about a 383-440 in a A-Body ? Custom Headers and spark plug access! I had a 440 in a 74 Dart Swinger, passed everything but the gas station with a paltry 5-6 mpg. I love the 68-69 B.Cuda's Notchback better than the E-Bodies which are cool but overpriced. The A-Body Cuda's are cheaper, better looking, and more scarce.

  • you gotta love american muscle cars

  • You guys and your safety comments... It's caged and it's real steel, I'm sure it's setup for Drag racing, the ZR1 is not a drag car go be an ASS somewhere else, MOPAR!!

  • Chevys suck

  • I would like to see what a few carter 1000 cfm. would do, I think it would be to much.lol

  • Fuckin' NASTY

  • sexy

  • Good old Classic Muscle cars!!!! Nothin like them!!! Nice Car!!!

  • YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES THERE IT IS THE TRUTH HEMMMMMMMMMMMMIII@% GOT BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the announcer sounds like R. Lee. Ermy

  • im sorry that was sexy.....enough said

  • WHAT A BESTIAL SOUND!

    love the Mopars

  • they should remake the old popular plymouths but not mass produce them........they should just make a few thousand and start a pure muscle car make with your choice of year remake for example a 2011 70cuda or a 2011 73 cuda

  • @thugstylef there are companies that will do that for you they will make a muscle car exactly like the original but new or if you choose you can add new modern luxuries to it

  • that's nuthin i dynoed my moms 88 grand caravan . It has 704 bhp.

  • Very nice car!!

  • did you use nos?

  • Depends on who I am racing! :)

  • I was using it during the dyno pull.

  • @surrynet its nitrous

  • what o wonderful noice!!

  • That's the sound of a Great American Musclecar! Wow! Love it! Love it!

  • Yeah, it is. :)

  • Nothing in the world sounds as cool as opening up the secondaries on a 4 barrell carb......and you have two of 'em!! :)

I'd give a testicle for a car like that.

Sold my '67 SS, 327 Impala last fall. It had a 275 HP engine with camel hump heads and a TH400 transmission on it. All original. I sold it to a 16 year old kid who's dad is going to help him completely restore it.

    I miss my car... :)

  • @Wingnutman Well in an optomistic outlook, that car is going to be forever treasured. It sounds like it's in good hands =)

  • I do think that Hot Wheels based its King Kuda car that I used to have about 30 years ago on this beast. Pure awesome!!

  • f*@king monster....

  • I love the sound of old school american cars!! They are so scary.=)

  • woowww

    men

  • on the bottle!

  • that is one sick car!!

  • that would be a fast car

  • dam how did u get that sound?!?!?!?!

  • At james6speed @mattio79 true but it won't blow up it's a torqueflight. This cracks me up. I know they can be built up, but I've so many of them pop and they do need to be modded. Even the C6 and TH400 needed beefing if the engines got modded decently. Good source would be the the trannie companies on what holds what. And the % ratio of loss thru the drivetrain depends on many variables so it varies among different trannies. Good article on this in some mags.

  • Impressive, but considering the engine/compression this engine should put this down. For anybody that doesn't know about the Hemi, this car has a 528 12.5 to 1 and in my opinion easily capable of making 1000 HP at the flywheel. You just canb't beat a Hemi for raw power (sorry Big Block Chevy fans) but all things being equal BBC to Hemi, the Hemi will outpower the BBC by on average 75 HP.

  • I thought the video kicked ass until the guy actually pounded that gas pedal like a lead brick @ 0:40

I then shit my pants from the epicness.

  • 703hp? that tranny must be sucking close to 200hp from that flywheel

  • An automatic transmission has about a 22% power loss to the rear wheels.

  • @CudaHemiTom thats why i dont like automatic transmissions :P i mean...22% is alot imo :P ..wouldnt you just love to have that of power with a manual transmission?

  • @CudaHemiTom awesome ride man!but why don't you use 4speed or another manual tranny?i think it's besides more power much more fun to drive, isn't it?anyways cool car!

  • @GIwillo What other Mopar Manny is there besides the coveted and venerable good ol' A-833 ?

  • @Navajas440 dunno dude.was just a thought.i do not have that much knowledge about muscle cars or mopars :P

  • @GIwillo Get a Mopar and that'll change, Or some other RWD V8.Peferably a 2 door.

  • @CudaHemiTom You are right on cause my 393 Windsor street car makes 600hp at the crank and 470wheel. Exactly 22% loss. That's a big chunk with 3800 stall converter. What did you do to this engine(specs) to make 703rwhp. that 900 at the crank. Is it pump or pure race gas. Your cam must be huge solid roller.

  • @irvinemuscles 12.5 compression, large roller cam with good springs, ported heads, pump gas.

  • @CudaHemiTom Car must run low 9's.

  • @CudaHemiTom Are those Mini Tubs in the rear, or just big ol tires

  • Respond to this video... Don't ever sell that beauty, ever.

  • @mattio79 true but it won't blow up it's a torqueflight.

  • @mattio79 how much torq bc that has a lot to do with the HP also

  • @mattio79 im buyin my mom a Chevy SS with 500hp nd 400 torque with a twin turbo lmao

  • @lildevilstudboy69 lol no your not

  • thats bad ass man. very nice.

  • lol that shit scared me

  • this is why everyone should love dodge

  • 2 Holley 770 cfm

  • @CudaHemiTom i thought 780,s were the ones? Had a 68 cuda formula S and tweaked the hell out of it eidelbrock high rise holley 780,headers,traction bars and it already had prestolite dual point ignition and posi-traction standard from the factory so i left the rest alone. My 68 formula S was a screamer and i routinely out ran troopers on the highways in North and South Carolinas.Dont tell anybody, this is just strictly between you and me!!

  • MOPAR RULES what u runnin for a carb holley double pump or what?

  • holy Shit is that your car it's got balls

  • Nice Ride, MOPAR all the way baby!

  • crazy car .. is bealtiful

  • Thanks!

  • Classic, beautiful car man

  • wow;-) 528 Hemi - Is this 4Speed or Automatic? Holley or Edelbrock?

What camshaft? What kind of exhaust system?x- pipes?mufflers?Sorry for asking a lot, but I´m very interested in "American Power" - you know what I mean? I´m looking for a 68 Chrysler 300 Coupe with 440, but in Germany it´s very difficult to find such cars like this...

    Thanks for answering,

best regards from Germany and have a nice and chillin day

  • Nice car, i´m really impressed...;-)

What engine and parts you have build in your car?

What kind of carburator you´re using?

    Best regards from Germany...Mopar rules;-)

  • 528 Hemi, 12.5 pistons, 770 cfm dual carbs.

    Thanks!

  • sick

  • very nice

  • wait for it, wait for it ,hold on ,hes playing ,just a sec more ,BAM SCREAMING HEMI OUT OF THE BOX

  • sounds like god trying to escape from the exhaust

  • ha!

  • tensec340: do you have a post of your car and engine mods. interested in what you have buildt.

  • At the rear wheels, on pump gas? I doubt it.

  • I dont know I have a 572 hemi and its running 800hp on pump gas, at the price of building it i dont think I want to run nitrous. Very nice car, I'm not impressed with people that come on and knock a cool car. Thanks for posting your car its sweet!

  • Thanks!

  • Man thats alot of HP!!!!!!

  • Music to my ears.

    ALL AMERICAN MUSCLE CAR!

  • this is how cars should be built. fuck mpg and safety a car has to be fast and looking cool in it

  • Lol, for the "toys" anyway, I don't exactly want to drive in a 700 horse car to work every day:P God I love this thing.

  • @911SHIZBO Fuck yeah why have a bad ass car without driving it? I would drive this thing every where! I have a Purple Cam 440 - 6 pack with a rock crusher 3 speed tranny waiting for something to jump into :)

  • FUCK YEAH BRO !!!!!!

  • @2605830 say that again when you or your relatives had a heavy accident.and if u see such cars everyday and everywhere they won't be special anymore in my opinion.

  • @2605830 a ZR1 Corvette will annihilate this thing and still give you higher chance to survive a bad collision. Fuck safety? Fuck your life lol

  • @malaka1212 It's easy for you to talk shit, I doubt you've ever built anything, cuz if you'd had, You wouldn't be talking shit. Hemi 'Cudas (A Bodies, Like you know what that is) are much more rare and practical than a Corvette . Who could afford a fucking 'Vette ? Hemi's aren't cheap, but they can be had without a fucking credit check, Hemi's also have more appeal than 'Vettes do. Some people only want certain year 'Vettes, Anyone with taste, wants a Hemi.Vettes are a dime a dozen, Not Hemis.

  • @Navajas440 My comment was in response to some clown on this thread who said, "this is how cars should be built. fuck mpg and safety a car has to be fast and looking cool in it"

Obviously you didn't catch that, and just proceeded to assume I'm a Hemi hater, which I'm not. This style of Cuda happens to be my favorite of all, and grabbing one with a Hemi powerplant would be a dream. Point I was making is that older cars were less survivable in severe accidents... but not a biggie tho.

  • @malaka1212 I disagree AND I agree: The safety standards today didn't really exist back in the Muscle Car era.So Yeah I agree with you there. However, sheetmetal is....METAL nonetheless whereas the newer stuff still uses some sheetmetal like the hood and fenders, but overall to save weight, carbon fiber is used. But at the same time, bumpers were iron or heavy metal, Today, only trucks have metal bumpers. I do agree with you on the 68-69 A-BODY 'Cudas being my favored 'Cudas over E-Bodies.

  • Comment removed

  • @malaka1212 I used to think precisely the same thing. Novice logic would tell you that big sold heavy frames + bumpers composed of almost 2-tons of Detroit steel would protect you well in a collision. Then I saw modern crash tests performed on coupes and sedans of the pre-70s era, before crash dummies even existed. The geometry/construction of the car had no safety in mind (ie. lap belts, bench seats, what air bags?) during design. Today's cars are lighter but designed to protect passenger

  • @malaka1212 Your pos ZR1 would be destoryed by buslengths if it ever tried this Cuda you fucking moron newbie fag,

  • I was unimpressed until about 45 second mark.... sounded nasty...

  • how did it gt 704 hp?

  • he sprayed u could hear the purge

  • watch the driver side windshield wiper move wen he sprays its a hidden purge

  • @heydudekev

    Mopar

  • amazing!

    Plymouth <3

  • wow! thats the coolest 69 barracuda i ever seen, awesome mopar and it sounds like a monster! mopar or no car, i got a 72 charger with a 440

  • max;]

  • 600rwhp on 93 octane with 12.5:1. You must be one smart engine builder. Those are insane numbers. I'd be happy with 480-500rwhp in a 3000lb 68 stang. As soon as I get my AFR 205'S with my XR292R solid street roller put in, my dyno guy said I should be putting down at least 475rwhp. Dumping the Edelbrock Performer RPM heads and smaller street roller cam for some real HP. Won't make 600rwhp, have to go to a bigger engine and wheel tubs for that, otherwise, you're just spinning your wheels.

  • How can you run 91-93 octane with 12.5 :1 I have 10:1 in my 393 windsor out her in California. If I run straight 91 it runs shity with dieseling when I shut the car off. When I mix 91 with 100 octane(50/50) it runs great with no dieseling or run on.

  • Aluminum heads, Hemi chamber shape (no squish), dual plugs per cylinder.

  • Thats alot of displacement how much suspension mods did you have to make to the front I would guess that a heavy motor. Ibuild imports bu I have bn trying to get my dad to upgrade his 355 in his 69 camaro for the longest

  • Beautiful masterpiece of Muscle Machinery. What's the specs on the motor(CR, Cam, Cubic inches.etc.....) That black paint job looks like it cost at least 10k. Car's probably worth a 100k easy. How much do you have in just the motor, just curious. Black is the best color. Awesome car, must be one hell of a blast to drive, and it looks like a street ca. Is that a full tube or mini.

    I'm jealous.

  • The paint is very nice, even though it is 25 years old! The motor is 12.5 compression, 528 ci, roller cam, dual plug aluminum heads, magnesium cross ram intake. I probably have $40k in the motor.

  • How come the paint looks so new. How did you keep it lookin' that good after 25 years. 12.5 CR, what do ya run 100 octane.

  • TLC and 3M glaze! Nope. I run pump gas only! Aluminum heads and massaged pistons help.

  • Oh yea, it is fully tubbed with custom rear frame rails.

  • No wonder------>nitrous

What is it on real motor?

  • It is about 600 at the rear wheels on 93 octane only.

  • That is one gorgeous cuda....mirror black paint and bad ass engine=cool ride

  • nice car

  • Nice :)

  • Now thats some muscle there, nearly launched off the dyno :3

  • IT MOVED

  • The Raw Awesome Power Of Good Ole' American Horse Power. Alright, I Thought The Idea Was To Keep The Factory Motor Inside To Make It A Collectors' Car...........LMAO............

But, The Inky Dinky Motor Did Not Have Enough Muscles Like The Buffed Out Hemispherical Rat Motor!!!!!!!! 703 H.P.

How Long Did Take To Build It's Muscle & Must Be A Lot Money Being Spent At GNC Retail Store Outlets..............J.Joking....Nine9eniN

  • I believe it's Elephant, not Rat motor.

  • The vision of this is awesome, the sound is awesome, its just awesome. It makes me want to vomit on the bonnet of a corolla for fun.

  • HEMIIII

    Pure insanity!!!

  • amazing sound!

  • Mopar: Move over Plymouth approaching rapidly

  • @crazykincardineite best acronym evar

  • sprayin?....just heard some air noise like purgin before you made a pull

  • holy shit!!! im that beat wants to bust them straps on that dyno and run!!

  • 0:40 - 0:45

  • made my day!!!

    thats real muscle!

  • i got a 67 barricuda that i just bought... lotta work to do..

  • Crap, now I gotta go clean up...

  • I'm no Dodge fan, but I think that WOULD make anyone like them. GREAT JOB.

  • hehe. its not a Dodge.. ;)

    Stay Mopar Or Stay Away!!!

  • I stand corrected, :)

I would still love to have one like it.

  • hell yeah:D

  • Holy shit, couldnt believe when he was flooring the pedal....... what a strong beauty!

  • the sound alone will make you blow yer load

    *droolz*

  • this would make elmers glue out of any mustang !

  • Love those A body Barracudas, and that has tio be one of the nicest around

  • i'm a tuner owner, and even i love that car!!!!!!! shame they are rare in the UK :( i want one :(

  • fuckkkk :))) OMG !!! i WANT SHE

  • HEY..... amazing

  • 0:39 OMG !!
