But the Volt is coupled with a cleaner flex fuel engine that you can take with you out of state.
The Nissan Leaf is one of the great cars of the future, but in terms of material quality, technology and performance, it is a different car from the Chevy Volt. The Volt is a very well built car.

In response to the Volt's "230" ad, Nissan just announced today that the upcoming Nissan Leaf will get 367 mpg, and it's 1/2 the price of the Volt.
