  • THANKS!!! VERY NICE WORK.XX

  • Lucy was so much larger than life and we are all the better for having known her....Robert

  • debra messing

  • I believe a lot of celebrities may have dabbled in communism way before the cold war began and before most knew just how twisted and evil a philosophy it was. Back during the depression, John Sanford, aka Redd Foxx and best friend Slappy White were "sit in' members of a socialists group in New York(maybe Harlem?), but it was only because at the meetings they were provided with a free meal.

Lucy died young(77) Wonder if she hadn't smoked, would she still be with us? My grandmom lived to be 99.

  • aww I'm feelin' so emotional right now. I love this video it's really strange to be so emotional over people you don't know and never met, I to am an I Love Lucy fan I have all the episodes on dvd, I to watch when I'm upset or need a laugh great job Lucy would be proud.

  • What an actress my mom and my whole family loves her

  • Wow, as watching the video i was watching on t.v the vitametavegimin..vid. just a teen and i love herr

  • Great job and thanks. I still love lucy, have all the dvds, watched her alot still. Billy

  • She made us laugh, even when everything in our life was sad. Wikipedia records that Lucille testified "that she had registered to vote as a Communist or intended to vote the Communist party ticket" in 1936 at her socialist grandfather's insistence. Ball further said she had never been a member to the communist party to her knowledge.

  • Happy Birthday to my favorite funny lady:) I Love You Lucy! I'm so grateful to all the channels that are still airing her movies and I Love Lucy, and I'm also grateful to people who post videos and tributes to her on Youtube. This was wonderful:)

  • Excellent Tribute....she and I share the same birthday.....

  • This was beautiful

  • Happy 100th birthday Lucy! If there is heaven and I get there, she would be one of the first people I would thank for making my life more bearable on this earth.

  • Wow no dry eyes here..I miss her so much. And I LOVE LUCY!!!

  • Happy 100th Birthday Lucy :D

  • Rest Peacefully

    LUCILLE BALL {1911~1989}

Today would have been her 100th birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LUCY! Babaloo!!! LOL

  • Well done on the slideshow! Happy 100th, Lucy!

  • August 6, 1911 God gave us Lucy. 100 years later we all can say she brought nothing but joy and laughter into our lives like no other comedienne ever did. Today on her 100th birthday we all should take a moment and smile, remembering the laughter she gave us. That smile would be our personal tribute to her. Happy Birthday Lucy.....we all loved you!!

  • Happy 100th Birthday, Lucy! If you need a laugh, watch the "I Love Lucy" reruns. A funny lady.

  • I love you Lucy!! Happy 100th Birthday!! Love,Nora

  • Lucy is the best.

  • Happy 100th Birthday Lucy...In Our Hearts and Heads Forever....I'm going to cry watching this....I have Goosbumps already. 9,000,000 Thumbs Up....

NOBODY COULD EVER REPLACE YOU...YOU WERE ONE OF A KIND,BLESSED IN EVERYWAY.LOVED YOU THEN,NOW AND FOR EVER.THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS BEAUTIFUL VIDEO.

  • she was soooooo hilarious and beautiful!!!

  • This made me cry, and I never cry!!! I'm a huge fan of hers and I'm 13, I wasted 10 yrs not watching her, but she makes me feel happy all of the time. I wrote a paper on her for english and I meant every word I said. I love Lucy you can't be american and not love her.

  • She is my Granny's cousin.

  • I may have been born during the ending of Lucille Ball's career, but I used to watch every episode of her show when I was a kid... well it can't be helped because we had basic channels then and "I Love Lucy" runs on a 2hr timeslot when there was nothing on... but I enjoyed the time watching her and her shows. It may have been trivial to me back then, but looking back now, Lucille Ball is indeed the 'Queen of Comedy'. She has Buster Keaton living in her. We'll miss you~

  • SOME TRY TO BE HER AND SOME TRY TO ACT LIKE BUT NO ONE IS FUNNY LIKE LUCY AND HER BEAUTY LIKE LUCYS R.I.P

  • THUMBS UP FOR 0:53

  • Beautful, just beautiful. I was just thinking, someone like Lucy only comes around every two or three hundred years.

  • I love Lucy but I agree with tv guide's best shows ever. It put Seinfeld as #1 I totally agree "Lucy," is 2nd. Though Jerry Seinfeld got alot of what he did from Lucille.

  • It seems you are un-American if you don't love Lucy! a GREAT job!

  • Four ladies that truly made me laugh: Lucille Ball, Bea Arthur, Carol Burnett, and Vicki Lawrence. They just don't make them like them anymore.

  • that last picture of her and desi is the most breathtaking picture ever. it says so much, you can tell they were really in love with one another.

  • There will never be anyone like Lucy. Wish she was still with us....

  • Shes an Icon and I love her always!

  • beautiful video!! RIP Lucille Ball! You will always be remembered!

  • omg I teared up the whole time

    I love you Lucy!!!!

Thank you for this video! Thank you so much.

    François.

  • Forever in my memory - and always in my heart!!!

To those that have left us behind - being remembered is to never die!!!!

    Thanks, Lucy and Ricky!!

  • @irish89055 SHE WAS A COMMUNIST - SURPRISED THEY DIDNT RUIN HER LIFE OVER IT

  • @allenwood100 she apparently dabbled in it in the 1930's before many knew the full evil of communism, So did Oppenheimer, and they did ruin his life, maybe justifiably...

  • @irish89055 GOOD COMMENT- THANKS

I love her and miss just like millions of others do in the world, still. She didn't have a happy ending on earth, but i believe she did in heaven. GOD BLESS YOU LUCILLE AND RIP!

    Michelle

  • I met her daughter Lucie Arnaz she is nice!

  • Oh my gosh this made me so sad!!she is just one of those rare amazingly talented people who you wish just didn't ever die.seeing her change into such an old woman in the pictures made me want to cry because she was eventually going to leave.Great actress and a great youtube video to go with it!by the way i have a wall clock with the pose at 5:08 on it!!

  • Lucy was so beautiful. She had that perfect combination of a crazy little kid and an elegant woman. I've been in love with her ever since I can remember.

  • I loved it. I am so a I Love Lucy fan.

  • She was who she was, and wasn't afraid to be anyone different. Her talents were best exposed because she was confident in her talents, personality, and image, and she still serves as a great lesson for Hollywood and beyond today.

  • That was a very nice tribute indeed. I too am an avid Lucy fan, but her work on I Love Lucy was the best she ever did frankly, save a few good movies. I enjoyed watching her on interviews as well. She was never out of the public eye, as some are when they get on in years. Thanks for posting.
