  • (cont) If you are right, we shouldn't prolong the suffering of the poor and the diseased, we should kill them, regardless of their spiritual state and let them get on to Heaven.

You are teaching false doctrine. You will be judged more harshly because you are leading people away from the truth. Repent and turn back to Christ while you still can.

  • (cont) A guy in this video asks why we shouldn't just do what we hear our God is going to do. Well the answer is because He told us not to. He judges perfectly, we do not. We are fallen and every thought we have is perverted. Even your love for your own children is a fallen version of love full of selfishness and pride.

Also, if we are all going to Heaven anyway, why was Christ so adamant that we do what he commanded? In fact, it's better to die now than live the Christian life.

  • The entire argument hinges on aionos, but that falls flat because it isn't the only part that talks about everlasting punishment. The rich man and Lazarus shows it by saying that people who end up where the rich man are can not cross the chasm to where Abraham and Lazarus were. Christ will also be separating sheep from the goats at the judgement. Why is there weeping and gnashing of teeth if they are just going to heaven anyway?

  • Where can I actually find these videos you found? Could you give me links?

  • Almost all denominations believe in Hell as a literal place of eternal suffering and torment, therefore your interpretation of the Bible in which Hell does not exist as a literal place is aberrant, and you face the disapproval of 90% of Christianity. This is just one reason why I lost my Christian faith, all the differing, contradicting interpretations that claim to be right. If the Bible was truly derived from a perfect supernatural being it would be airtight and easy to understand, but its not

  • Whatever we hold as the nature of the death state, the Bible tells us that death is to be abolished. "The LAST enemy that shall be destroyed is death" (I Cor. 15:26), Any theology which shuts up the mass of the human race in "eternal death" when the "last" enemy is abolished is errant, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. The lake of fire MUST end death because death and hell are cast into it, which is the second death, and in the end THERE SHALL BE N-O M-O-R-E D-E-A-T-H.

  • ........ The individuals who spend an eternity in the lake of fire are the Angels that were banished from God's original kingdom. This concept has been lost through generation after generation of fundamentals being taken out of context.

  • The term ''Hell'' is often mistaken for the ''Lake of fire''. Although the lake of fire is a form of hell. ''Hell'' simply means ''Under the judgment of God''. The people who are condemned and thrown into the lake of fire( for the sake of fulfilling scripture) will burn up and return to the state of death which is a void, a darkness that the Hebrews called ''Sheol''.......

  • If you'd just accept the logical fact that there is no God then you wouldn't have to debate any of this nonsense.

  • Thank you Peaceinchrist for spreading this video. Btw everyone pieces of this are taken from my video(its link in the description box) , Peace just added the ending song and pictures. If you have questions you can PM me. However I will not debate this, if you want my take on things then please ask me. But if you just want to be RIGHT and will call me a heretic then please don't bother. This is one of my first videos so of course its less scriptural than I want it to be. Ask me any question.

  • After what Ive Ive seen this god do in the Old Testament eternal hell wouldnt surprise me. Hes not a loving god. He's bloodthirsty and plays favorites. I dont want to spend eternity with such a scary god.

  • @MercuryRis yeah, how horrible, dying for you even though you curse His name probibly every day....how horrible

  • @bxfguif I dont even KNOW his true name, and neither do you. Dont be all acting self-righteous when its likely you have dirty laundry scattered all over your house like Jesus speaks of the hypocrites. Here's a little impure thought...suck my balls. By the way, theres no guarantee YOU are going to heaven either.

  • Wow - that video is definitely a thumbs down for hypocrisy and eisegetical garbage.

  • 10:43 ... where do they find people like you... insipid, weak, cloying, sickly and frankly spineless...

  • @TheWisemonkey8 Please do not commit YouTube suicide again. If you are struggling with your thoughts, contact AgentOfDoubt and he will help you with your troubling thoughts.

  • @PeaceInChristAlone that is not very compassionate... now where is the love... I smell the stench of hypocrisy... I expect nothing else...

Like your taste in music and theological understanding you show very little depth...

Now, totter off and listen to the Gladiator sound track...

  • @TheWisemonkey8 Why did you commit YouTube suicide? Was it the attacks from haters and trolls?

Sorry if you think I have no compassion and love, but it's kind of hard to love when you insult me like you have. ("Unintelligent Pig Sh*t'........ ring a bell?) Have I ever insulted you to that degree?

I still find you entertaining, take heart and don't ever give up again.

  • Mat 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.

Luk 13:23-24 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? AND HE SAID UNTO THEM, STRIVE TO ENTER IN AT THE STRAIT GATE: FOR MANY, I SAY UNTO YOU, WILL SEEK TO ENTER IN, AND SHALL NOT BE ABLE

Are you calling Jesus a liar?

  • How can those who make it into eternal joy be happy knowing that the unsaved are locked forever into eternal torment?

At this point, will we see these people as God sees them? Will we understand that God gave them (and us) a chance at His eternal grace and mercy and yet the people who refused this gift are getting what they asked for, to be apart from God and His ultimate Love?

It is God's will that all men be saved? I think so, but that does not mean that people will freely choose this!

  • "Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it. 14"For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it," (Matt. 7:13-14).

OK, so who is it that enters the narrow gate? Does the gate allow all into heaven?

So why bother to express your faith? If no one is going to hell (since it does not exist) then why bother telling about Jesus?

  • What is the context of "aionion: when it is used? Why does it mean one thing when it is all warm and fuzzy but not when it is not nice. I do not know the people in these videos you refrence but I am not sure they understand God's love. He does not force Himself on us. Universalism teaches that God will save all when that is not the context of the passages used.

So what is Jesus trying to save us from? If we all get saved no matter what, then who cares about His sacrifice on the cross?

  • Are you just teaching universalism? OK, why is John 6:47, "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal (aionion) life. teaching eternal life in Jesus but Matt. 18:8, "And if your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; it is better for you to enter life crippled or lame, than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the eternal (aionion) fire. teaching temporary, or non existent punishment?

  • Non believers are not God's Children until they repent and become so. As for hell, I would agree there is no literal place called Hell..However there will be an eternal punishment in some form, Evil must be Punished, whether that means eternal Death or suffering in the lake of Fire, is debatable.

  • @ahmalala Punishment is given to learn from mistakes. Eternal punishment, in a sense, makes no sense. How can you possibly enjoy eternity in bliss knowing your child, parent, spouse is in that place of torment. Can you look at the starving people in the world and say they deserve it? Does anyone really deserve eternal punishment?

  • @MercuryRis Part 2 as for eternal punishment, the 2nd death is an eternal punishment where the soul is destroyed. Only repentant believers who have accepted Gods salvation will Inherit eternal life.

  • @ahmalala Punishment? ceasing to exist isnt a punishment. I really dont want to live forever. I man cmon! boredom, angels watching every move you make, loss of ideas for heavenly TV shows, even lobster and donuts will eventually become old. Eternal rest is a blessing in itself.

  • @MercuryRis Well, it certainly is a punishment to me. If eternal life is possible, I want it. You say you dont want it based on assumptions of what it might be like, when it is probably not anything how u imagine. There has never been anything more frightening to me than sudden death and complete non existence and im sure you fear death, you would not want it to all suddenly end as it will one day. God is the God of the Living, the dead have nothing and there life was a moment in time.

  • @PeaceInChristAlone I believe that believer or not, when you die you will bow before him. I respect your views on this matter, but my personal studies and opinions have led me to believe that if you except that Jesus died for you and is your savior God lets you into heaven, if satan has blinded you and you have not excepted that you will casted into enternal damnation. God has given everyone a chance, he wants everyone to except him, but will you take it is the question everyone should ask.

  • One day, every knee will bow

  • @RememberReach100 Do you believe that GOD will save everyone?

  • Very nicely put together video. This video speaks truth. Everyone will one day believe.

  • @phillip78 Thanks. I hope everyone will one day believe.

  • The Bible describes it as weeping (Matt 8:12), wailing (Matt 13:42), gnashing of teeth (Matt 13:50), darkness (Matt 25:30), flames (Luke 16:24), burning (Isa 33:14), torments (Luke 16:23), everlasting punishment! Jesus Christ says in Matthew 25:41, "Depart from me, ye cursed, into EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels."

  • everlasting fire — Matthew18:8, 25:41 everlasting punishment — Matthew 25:46 everlasting chains — Jude 1:6 eternal damnation — Mark 3:29 eternal judgment — Hebrews 6:2 eternal fire — Jude 1:7 unquenchable fire — Matthew 3:12 the fire that never shall be quenched — Mark 9:43, 44, 45, 46, 48 fire unquenchable — Luke 3:17 mist of darkness is reserved for ever — 2 Peter 2:17
  • Are you teaching Universalism? That heretical doctrine that no matter what we all wind up in heaven in the end? You know what love is? Love is not lying to people, especially on a subject as important as their eternity. I pray few people see this video, and even fewer believe it. Even Jesus spoke of hell, Luke 16 He refers to it as a place of torment and fire. Matthew 13, Matthew 25, Mark 9. Hell is real; it is scriptural, and lest you repent and be saved, you'll find out the hard way

  • @MoralRapist Bad example. We all know the moon landing was faked ;)

  • @PeaceInChristAlone I'm not sure if you are leaning universalist or not, but I don't agree with Christian Universalism for several reasons. Doesn't it seem also messed up if God would have to burn people in the Lake of fire unitil they are willing to submit to him? How would burning people make people love God?

  • @trident343lives

The Lake of Fire is even where Hell is put, that’s an indication the Lake of Fire is showing in its meaning to be total destruction, forever no more.

  • @trident343lives

Where it says “not able to kill the soul” that’s meaning God will resurrect?

The soul is not immortal and ends in the grave, hell is the grave, and soul will stay there if not resurrected by God. The soul simply means life of an individual, even an animal is a soul. A spirit is a force that is not normally seen with the eyes, even the breath is a force, a spirit. There are other kinds of spirits that are a life force, the Angels that are from heaven are spirits.

  • @Wh47n0w1517 I believe the soul is a separate yet integral entity. Personally I think it whats gives us consciousness. Its hard to say though. Even the early church fathers were very divided on what the soul was exactly. I read a very good essay on the topic. At the end of the day though, God can and Will destroy it along with the body if a person is not redeemed by the blood of Jesus.

  • @trident343lives Thanks for your feed back and insight.

  • @NickBravoSpeaks Okay if everlasting doesn't mean eternity what else does it mean? Okay I now chose not to be sent to this place. So now its in your deities corner. Also no one wants that, really who would? Still it has to prove itself, where is the proof to believe your deity is the real one heck if there is one at all?

  • @NickBravoSpeaks No I didn't. You said its not hell like we understand it. So I pointed this out, you gave me the same verse so I replied. So what exactly is your point. That just because its not torture its okay. And if thats the case you not worth my time.

  • i should flag this video for promoting terrorism.....i wont, but i should.

Science flies you to the moon, religion flies you into buildings.

  • @MoralRapist Thanks for not flagging me.

  • @MoralRapist ...and I should flag you for being a dick, where in this video did he promote terrorism?

  • @TheViolentBuddha have you heard of how many religious wars there have been? By promoting christianity, you are validating the fundamentalists, who want to start religious wars.

  • @NickBravoSpeaks because he doesnt exist!

  • @NickBravoSpeaks not really. you have to prove it under reasonable experimental conditions. in other words, they have put the same criteria on it as would be on a SCIENTIFIC claim (or in other words, a claim that isnt bullshit.), and you CANNOT DO THAT with "god", because it DOESNT FREAKING EXIST!

  • Amen! Ive been studying this topic for over a year and I am a convinced Annihilationist. The terms in the bible such as Eternal Punishment and Eternal Destruction are compatible with Annihilation. BTW - The bible never once uses the terms "eternal torture" or "eternal burning" to describe the fate of the wicked.

  • @NickBravoSpeaks knowledge of god??? dude, if thats true, search around on the internet, some guy is offering 1 million $ U.s. to anyone who can prove under reasonable experimental conditions that god exists. so go there. otherwise shut it, there is no proof a god exists.

  • @NickBravoSpeaks Im butting in here but really how do you know god?? I would love to hear this!

  • @NickBravoSpeaks No actualy we find there are natural reasons for how the universe is. Rabbits don't give birth to unicorns because there rabbits, come on bro. Unicorns aren't even real. Also would one ofits laws be to lie to its creation about the universe in which it lives? Like how the universe came about, oh and I dont know if you know this the earth is not being held up by pillars in the firmament which is non exsistant

  • Just one question Peace. How would you explain Daniel 12:2 which reads as follows: "Many of those who sleep in the dusty ground will awake, some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting adhorrence." Just wondering.

  • @TheViolentBuddha Everlasting contempt, shame or disgrace, but not everlasting torture. It is similar to the fact that the Apostle Paul has to live with the fact forever that he persecuted the church of GOD, yes GOD has forgiven him, but it still is a fact that he might live with forever.

  • @PeaceInChristAlone So its okay to be shamed, disgraced, and put in contempt for eternity just for not believing something with no evidence to back the claims made by this deity. Still does not sound loving at all. Sounds like a pissed off teenager to me.

  • @NickBravoSpeaks ...and those scientific fact point more and more to their is no god. Just noticed you forgot that little bit. :)

  • @NickBravoSpeaks that doesnt mean religion is true or logical. i take it you are religious?

  • Religon : because thinking is hard!

  • @NickBravoSpeaks It seems unreasonable for GOD to burn people forever and ever. Thanks for commenting.
