Its funny because me and my friends always go there but last summer while we were there the song "forever young" was on the radio EVERY TIME and like you said ponce de leon thought you could stay young by drinking the water there. haha. talk about ironic.
anyone who wants to come to st. augustine should definately try out the cuban restraunt, Habanna village and their open bar, Mohitos. i work there so please tip well :)
Yeah I live in St Auggie.Haha I'm always DOwn saint George street,so if you're visitinggg I'll be there lol.But yeah It's a nice townn,It's a tourist trap but It's not overdone with tacky stuff.

Yeah....it is confusing. I visit st. aug. every fall for christmas shopping. when i was there last october, i went on a ghost tour and we learned that some dead preacher blew up in the courtyard of the cathredal...gross! I enjoy eating at scarlett ohara`s. I also love shopping on st. george street, especially at the pirate`s lady. I usually stay at the monterey inn, but this last time i had to stay at the best western inn at the spanish quarter.
lol i live in st. aug. lol don't drink the fountian of youth water many ppl do disgusting things to it and i love to hang on st. georges's street its like our mall here lol. Also that isn't the Cathedral. lol its an office building and a bank lol. the Cathedral is next door on the corner on st. georges street.

Make sure to visit where St. Augustine, Florida began in 1565 at the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park. Plenty of parking and pet friendly too!
