@93velarde I'm looking forward to seeing DeAngelo run with authority again... but the o-line has got to get it done, too. I think our defense has been performing admirably well considering the number of injuries we've had to starting defensive players!

That was some ridiculous rain, it looked like a swimming pool there. I just think that Cam needs to stop overthrowing his receivers. If he hit his receivers he would have had much numbers than what he did. I'm excited for this Sunday but I'm not expecting a win. Mainly because of the caliber of team the Bears are. I do think that if our defensive line gets to Cutler enough we have a chance. I mean come on, the Bears O-Line is garbage.

@PvtRoycewicz I can't say I "expect" us to win either, but I think we should have a strong shot to beat them. This is going to be a hostile environment for us as well. I think if we can stop their running game (just like Jacksonville) they won't beat us through the air. They're defense can be tough at times, but I think we'll be able to hang some points on 'em.

Dude WTF?! that perfectly fitted AC unit in the back is ON based on the LED thermostat but its not plugged in the cords rolled up! how did you do that?!! Seriously though have patience with our beloved panthers; I predict they will get dangerous towards the end of the season and be serious contenders next year. It is tough as a fan after ten years of fox to keep waiting but give it a year or so. Rivera,Chud and Cam are Awesome!

@dcaroon Hahaha, it actually is plugged in right where the cord is rolled up... there's an outlet right there. Nice observation, though! I do like to think I have patience for the Panthers, but I just know we have the talent to win. Given my competitive spirit, I want to win as soon as possible. I can definitely see them being strong contenders next season, but success this season would just be icing on the cake, you know?

@PanthersNation11 Yeah, I prefer the black jerseys. You can check out one of my other comments where someone asked about jersey colors. I laid out the jersey schedule for the rest of the season. The black and blue jerseys are worn later in the season.

I dont think that was the worst rain in charlotte ever but definitely the worst rain in an NFL game ever. I live in charlotte and it was sunny at my house the whole game, I guess a storm cloud just remained stationary over down town for and hour period.

@PanthersNFCS Ever may be an exaggeration, but it certainly had to be up there... my family back home lives about an hour NW of Charlotte and they said it was sunny there as well. That's just so bizarre.

Yes, that was a bull shit call. Other players have done it and it never got turned over but when its the panthers they call it back. Total crap. I think that call deflated the team for a little while. Anyway feels good to have a win. Better start than last year that's for sure. Go Panthers!

@BLite18 It had to have deflated them... I think if that play was called correctly, they never would've had the lapse in defensive coverage that allowed the Jaguars to score before halftime. It was somewhat of a chain reaction.

Do you know why the panthers are wearing their away jerseys at home?

@Deadmansp8 I don't think the team really refers to the white jerseys as "away" jerseys... I also prefer the black jerseys. I think they're line of thought on this is that white jerseys are cooler to wear in the warmer months. They start using the black and alternate blue jerseys later this year.

@Deadmansp8 We wear white until October 23rd against Washington... that game is the blues, vs. Vikings is blue, vs. Titans is black, then we have 3 on the road (all white), then vs. Falcons (black), @ Texans (white), vs. Bucs (black), and @ Saints (white).

@lorndarken That's a nice thought, isn't it? Atlanta is looking horrible so far this year. So much for their high flying offense. It's not scaring anyone right now.

@Tarheels0989 He doesn't seem to be running with the same authority, does he? It's still early in the season, so I'm going to give him a few more weeks to turn it around. I just don't want any kind of controversy coming up around the team saying that Jonathan Stewart is better now and should be starting, etc. In reality, they split carries, so it's really kind of useless to label one as a starter over the other.
