@fdsman exactly my point. There are openings in the floor that you have to stop up, just like a drain in a bathtub. If you leave them open....or open the fucking Door when the water is up to the doorhandle.... Well, maybe that is why there is water in your car??!!

If you remember to put in the plugs and turning on the pump to drain the water that coming in through the doors there is np, nornamly when you runing in the water the Bv is kind of low in the water(over the headlights) and up on the doors. But it more stable if you actually have some speed forward,But its easy too think this wouldnt work when you not use to what the veichle can do . Its a realy awsome all terrain veichle :D
Here in Sweden we can Drive This Bandvagnar without any problem. In sweden we have a robot carrier to. The rear wagon has instead of a roof a missile attach. By the way. I can Spell ÅÄÖ ÅÄÖ ÅÄÖ ÅÄÖ ÅÄÖ ÅÄÖ Kållered, Mölndal, Göteborg, Malmö, Försvarsmakten. Try that suckers
A few tips for swimming with the BV 206, Firstly DONT OPEN THE DOORS ;)
Mudflaps are inportant, they block in the return of the band.
There are 2 plugs on them one in the motor compartment and one in the back. they need to be plugged. And then just gas, it can go ~2 knots and it quite hard to steer.
Okay, i have the same question as ouseboater, where did the BV went down? It's used by our marines and they never went down, they used it from snow to rainforests and never lost one. He was just CHICKEN! Drive on, and keep the pedal down, it'll float for sure! (dont forget the pump).

So where was the sinking? Hagglunds float that low normally. Put some of the orchestra in the rear cab next time to even out the weight and it will look ok.

For starters he should take the drivers course. (he would know where the bilge pump switch is at)
Then make sure the bottom plugs are in.
Then make it ready to swim, such as lifting the mud flaps and securing them up..
