  • I just saw her video for the first time and in a few minutes I knew something had to be wrong, am so used to the islamic bullshits and lies that I was brought up with that I simply couldn't digest an obvious fabrication, you can pray all you want but it won't stop American airplanes or dictators from bombing innocent people. thx for uploading

  • Great video. Her own admissions of fraud & deception are incredible & a smörgåsbord of BS for undiscerning cloud 9 nit wits. I "believed" her story 5 years ago, then didn't give it much thought, until I saw, I Survived, on Biography & noticed all the religious overtones with the peoples stories, then watched one of her videos & read about a lot of inconsistencies & lack of detailed records & reporting on such a dramatic event, as well as the money, books , music, sites, on & on

  • I am not a fire the grid supporter or non supporter...but I think you need to get a life........

  • there will always be those who don't open their minds to our true reallity and are likend to detail ''their'' disbelief, find true or flse wrongs in others and miss the point or truth in general...light and love to them and hope they see the bigger picture in the end...or not.It all about selfdiscovery anyway so keep working on yourself instead of finding falts in others..LOVE HARMONY AND LIGHT TO ALL ,LET OUR SPIRITS UNITE ,IT'S ABOUT TIME..STOP RAMBLING,BE TRUE TO YOURSELF AND ALL WILL BE SEEN

  • What a mean spirited video. But I think Shelly would say, "thank you for sharing your feelings." Then she would probably ask herself, "what is the lesson I can learn from this attack on my personal integrity."

  • This is nit-pickery. Everyone should hear her story....and decide for themselves. Her message is simple. The planet is being ravage and we need to change it. We can do that....YES all we need is a critical mass and we can change the planet.

  • Creepy analysis. Wonder who appointed this person as protector of us more gullible air-heads? Granted, there is evidence of an exceptional intellect behind this, but why bother to 'expose' the inconsistencies in Shelley's account at different times? What is the motivation and goal? It does not strike me as an altruistic, humanity contribution being offered to benefit anyone.

  • I believe in healing energy, but I don't know if I entirley believe Shelly. I have no reason to believe, or disbelieve. So my question to you is, how do you know, for a fact, she's lying? There's no cold hard proof that she's telling the truth--except the fact that herself & her son living was very lucky, or a miracle. But there's also no proof that she's a fraud, a fake, a fabrication, as you say. I'm just curious--do you have anything else besides your comparisons?

  • @michikobll There's no hard evidence, but I consider the blatant contradictions to be pretty good indication that something's fishy. In fact... it's sort of like the fish that got away that keeps getting bigger every time the fisher tells the story. I don't think you'd see that kind of thing going on with an honest person.

  • It's interesting what you've come up with and a shame people have been rude to you, I just think what is the harm regarding sending healing energy to the earth at one time of year. Maybe she got things wrong but having loving and happy thoughts and focus isn't a bad thing. It may help the earth or it may not but what is an hour out of our lives to send loving thoughts?

  • @alternate7 Two hands at work can do more than a thousand clasped in prayer.

  • @CommanderSquidlet Can mankind not do both? I for one know what energy can do, but unless you have experienced it you can't know so I understand people who don't get it, I also know it is important to do work on the physical plane too. Being closed however, what does that do? But I agree that two hands can do a lot too. :)

  • I've just read a book, The Code to the Matrix, that talks about our language. Peace might really mean piece, as in pieces (subconsciously). Therefore when we are promoting peace (piece) we are actually promoting war...possibly. Just saying. I think on the safe side I'll just go more for promotion of all things good: love, clean water, air, kindness, and following my bliss...and leave the whole peace/piece conundrum out of it : )

  • @KimberleeMelissa That's an interesting perspective. I've never thought about the piece/peace connection before, but I have noticed that people trying to promote peace often try to do so through trying to enforce a hegemony of ideology, which leads to war.

  • Also the author brings up One Huge Point so necessary for lightworkers such as myself to honor. We must honor differences. No name-calling, please. Breathe, meditate before writing. It takes tremendous strength to not go along with the current world-wide regime of hostility, fear, greed, and ignorance. We must be examples of this love & light, accept others have differing opinions. We must all beware of deception by our egos, then government & religion under the influence of same.

  • I like it, but not for the obvious reasons. Inconsistencies in Yate's story could be a part of what many near-death observers experience: Many things at once; their whole life passing by them... & yes, talking about what spirits told you to do causes many people discomfort; most don't tell. But the author of this is asking questions. Question everything! Do enough asking & pondering, one will come to the same conclusion that many of these new-agers have. Love is strength. Fear is weakness.

  • I think that it's great to investigate and question, searching for the truth. Most people don't want to do the work and would rather take someone else's research and hold it as gospel truth. I like an organization that encourages you to seek and find your own truth. Look up Byron Katie on Youtube. I totally love her philosophy and freedom of choice. Of course, I don' t bite into everything that I hear, but for the most part, she is all about the truth. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

  • When a message brings Truth that will affect our distorted Core Beliefs, we feel a threat to our way of living. What we do then is always try to discredit the messenger and we avoid dealing with the message. Even the Messenger of the Greatest Truths was found guilty and crucified.

  • You make some valid points. Let's face it. There is so much disinformation out there and it is put there deliberately to 'confuse' IMHO. At the end of the day, I place my trust in myself and my intuition and my intuition tells me there is more than one thing 'fishy' about Shelley Yates's story. For one thing .. where is the evidence? Photos of the car being pulled out, lifted ... anything? Has anyone seen a picture of her 'sweet' son? What about his NDE? What about the happy pair reunited?

  • Shelley is a wonderful human being, with an incredible story . Why people are always trying to analyze everything and find mistakes. In my opinion people should worry more about helping each other and the planet instead of criticizing everything and everyone

    God Bless all

  • If nobody ever criticized, nobody would even know that there are things and people in the world that needed help. You do realize that we can't effectively help the planet without criticizing Big Business and Big Oil a lot along the way, right?

  • ...part 3 (last!). I raise one eyebrow at the unknown nature of the result of FtG. What will really come out of it? Are the beings really out for our greater good? What she asks of us I have no problem with. But didn't all religions start with good intentions, asking for no money, only love and understanding? I am curious, I am optimistic... I am observing. You bring up interesting points. I also know that even if science is right, there are other things happening. We'll see.

  • @mortadelletube Not all religions. Scientology, for example, was started for the very purpose of making money.

  • @CommanderSquidlet LOL xD Got me!!! :)

  • ...part 2 ;) Concerning near death experiences, the scientific community has found out recently that the closer you get to being dead, the CO2 build-up in your brains triggers reactions like seeing light or lights. I am sorry, I cannot provide you with references on this affirmation, but it's how I remember it - which is hilariously ironic, considering I just gave you proof that brains are crappy rememberers. haha :)

  • Hello! I am happy to provide you with scientific information. For brains+memory, you can start by watching novelist John Green's video (search Vlogbrothers, video titled "Poopy Nintendo Mystery SOLVED WITH SCIENCE") - it explains how and why the brain's bad at remembering things accurately ;) Don't worry, it's clean and informative.

  • hi CommanderSquidlet.

Is the picture at 2:34 of you?

    Light & Love to you

  • @omamibu Have you never seen The Princess Bride? D: You should; it's a great movie!

  • @CommanderSquidlet

    pun taken. Sorry, commander! :D

I'm a truth seeker too. But I'm always careful not to throw the baby out with the bath water. I love babies!

  • Recent events have lead me to Shelly. I wasn't aware of her and FtG until 2009. I began to have premonitions of the future coupled with dates. I am also part of the 11:11 phenomenon. Ask around and you will find people you know with that connection (over 1 million people.) Anyway, her description while subtly different, can not convince my of her intention being anything other than good. I have had too many coincidences in my life to disregard her story.

  • lolol you say being of light should or shouldn't say or do according to you whos the one being judgemental and petty I dare say... why is it so important to you? why give an ioda at all, it is what it is and it will be what it will be... a lot of people have had similar experiences of the supernatural and hers was inspirational and brought people together and open them up to beautiful music and was one of many to help bring awareness to peoples lives. yet you hide behind words. show yourself.

  • What is your problem? Shelley is trying to do something good for the planet.

  • @newrealities That's what they said about the invasion of Iraq.

  • @newrealities : Are you stoned? Have you even read what the video said? You just blurt out something just it's against YOUR idea of good, you don't even think for yourself much less come up with congruent arguments or honest conversation. You are nothing but a slave of your own desires.

  • I was inspired by Shelly Yates and her story and if you did something positive I may become inspired by you. Instead, you speak with disrespect about a woman who almost lost her baby if not for "divine intervention."You can say whatever you like about anyone and it doesn't make it true for anyone but you. This is not classified as a personal attack... just a fact.

  • It's great that you've been inspired to do something positive, but how do you *know* that divine intervention was involved? We only have Shelly's word on the matter, and going by how her story has changed over the years, I suspect her word isn't worth much.

  • Your rhetorical questions have very different answers than you expect. She says both of the things you put up as contradictions in her verbal account. They could be inaccuracies...one of the last things I thought, instead of the last thing I thought....You didnt expect hostility? You're calling people idiots. Then you use a strawman comparing this little movement to a cult. The dissent you are hearing is expected. Also, Shelley's movement was never about peace, but about healing the planet.

  • 1. Hostility is one thing. Death wishes are another.

    2. I never called anyone an idiot.

    3. I never said that it IS a cult; just that I noticed symptoms in common that concerned me.

    4. If FtG is ONLY about "healing the planet" and has nothing to do with peace, then explain these quotes from the website:

"you are ... not alone in your desire for all humans to experience joy, love, comfort and peace..."

"...a world full of peace and prosperity for every living being on the planet."

  • I know her on a personal level and I can honestly say that Shelley is all about Shelley. She left ftg briefly because she couldln't handle the backlash but anael and bradfield convinced her to come back(they had another cd to promote) and lo and behold here she is .

If you read the original report by the police officer you will see that he says her son is doing fine, and so he is. AAAh yet wait she also claims that her daughter is a indigo child. I believe she is an a typical munchausen mom.

  • @getsmart9, I pose these questions to you. Is your inability to see truth in Shelley's statement about her intentions or is it about her personality? Sometimes it's hard to get past personality or ego and sometimes things happen to the most unlikely people. Also, are you open to the possibility of the paranormal or events. I say that not with sarcasm. I used to be a seeing is believing sort. I have experienced some very interesting things as of late and I never expected them to happen to me.

  • Excellent video, thanks a lot for putting it together. Near Death Experiences of this kind are reasonably common from what I've heard. And so are visions of UFOs on drug trips.

But people don't claim extra terrestial intelligence is proven by their own subjective experience on acid.

Drugs simply stimulate the brain into performing tricks it has always been capable of, who knows what interesting realms of unconsciousness (dream delusion) shelly was in when close to death?

  • I could only watch this video half way till I had to turn it off. I didnt see her as a woman trying to get attention. I know of human energy and light worker or not controlled cults. Light worker believe as long as you believe you can manifest your own reality. In what ever method works for you. No one is controlling your mind, body, or pocket. We also believe you have a choice to believe what you what but that will be your reality. Make me sad for you.

  • I don't think it is important to nit-pick what Shelly said. She may have been in too much shock to report 'accurately'. Then too, she may have left things out so as not to be labeled 'crazy'. I think the bottom line here is, what is the harm in her actions, in the Fire the Grid. The Earth needs all the help it can get. More power to her.

  • The part that bugs me the most is her waffling between isn't brain dead/is brain dead. The way it's worded, I see very little room for confusion. In the first account, she makes it clear that the fact that her son wasn't quite brain dead gave her hope. If it were me and my kid, I don't think I could forget or muddle particulars like that. ;)

  • The point is that if she was in shock or avoiding the 'nutter-bar' label, she would clarify and be VERY clear about the obvious contradictions when the new version of the story was released instead of a silent change that might go unnoticed by those already on-board who wouldn't bother re-read, while newbies get the lies.

Also, whats the harm? It's deception...negative energy! Plain and simple. All the positive work done is infected energetically by the negative and is too inherently negative.

  • Thank you Commander Squidlet for your video. I find this type of personality fascinating - Shelley Yates, Swaggart, Oral Roberts and others from different cultures. Have you read "The Sociopath Next Door'? Like anything some excellent bits.

  • Mmm, well you think as you like. I don't have the energy to argue. I haven't been well. Good luck.

  • He's not arguing with you, just pointing out the obvious characteristics he's observed.

'Those who believe should be more considerate of those who can only come to the same conclusion by mere thinking instead of inflicting them with your own worst enemy of Doubt and suspecting them of sinister designs' - paraphrase of Carl Jung

I have to wonder, if she was truly scared to mention it you'd think she'd use her new found courage to strengthen her legitimacy and the integrity of her convictions.

  • sigh... I was seriously ill when I wrote that, and unable to handle people in my apt, let alone debate ideas on the net.

But, are you implying that I'm suspecting Squidlet of sinister designs? I'm not. You obviously think Shelly had sinister designs tho', & that seems unfair. I was speaking from my exp. of meeting Shelley and her husband, and my personal knowledge of people with Near Death Exp's: her story is very easy to believe. Can someone pls post the new and old versions of the story?

  • No, I don't believe her motives were ill intended, nor do I suspect people of Sinister Designs unless it's pretty obvious. All I can do is appraise the evidence at hand and use logic to determine the most reasonable solution or analysis I can.

The Jung quote was meant to address the fact that you were calling the discussion an argument when that is not what it appeared, to me, to be.

Also the end of the video contains links to both versions of the story.

  • cont'd 3...and guide them to be safe and come back to life. I'm sure she did think "I want my baby!" then be told not to struggle, passed into the place where the beings spoke to her, then come back. Consistent w 100s of other reports - books worth! Go see in the library. Often they have abilities or a new purpose when they come back. My aunt became psychic, my father learned to heal and meditate in a deeper way, etc., No, her death story is squeaky clean. It's the other stuff I'm worried about.

  • I thought maybe she simply left the beings of light out back in '02, but after a closer comparison, the stories just seem too different. Her train of thoughts and actions are mutually exclusive if you compare them closely.

Also, in '02, Shelly attributed her son's recovery to the "powerful healing energies" and "healing energies of love" from her son's (human) visitors. Now, if I were worried about people labeling me crazy, I wouldn't be using new age-y sounding terms like that.

  • cont'd... certainly, a former atheist isn't going to suddenly be confident enough in her new spiritual experiences to report it to a journalist! Did she "die", or die? Well, in some ways it's irrelevant. It's hard to tell from inside the experience - she did come close to death for sure, and beings told her how to come back to life. This is not revolutionary! This happens frequently. Ppl see angels, light beings, Jesus, spiritual figures... that help them be safe, comfort them ... continued

  • OK, as much as I decided not to partcipate in FTG because of my hesitations about the rationale behind it and the beings advising her - I have to come to Shelly's defence here. I met the woman and there's nothing ego-maniacal or dishonest about her. She and her near death experience are watertight. Most people do NOT report NDEs until years later for fear of being called crazy, or thinking they imagined it all. continued...
