hi as a loyus owner i agree. i had the money to get a car am lotus fan bought one of last esprits. i told mrs keats at lotus plc the current products are girly and wrong, also as the top end is only 155mph max on most you look stupid on german autobahn with vw golfs on your tail. the esprits do 164mph which is better for an autobahn burn. thats why they lost sales they make expensive go karts now.
Exige is track-oriented while Europa is GT. Huge difference. Evora is also a different type of car. And who did you expect at the ad? Go watch a stupid RnB video if you don't like the concept.
Brits pronounce letters that aren't there, as do Americans.
Mustangs and the like are desiged for different purposes. I've owned a '95 5.0L Mustang GT, and loved it. Soon I will own an Elise, and can't wait. Different cars for different purposes, different strokes for different folks.
And the Europa takes away what makes the Elise so fast, or adds to it - weight, which is what makes American muscle not designed for cornering as well as these little guys.
American cars' power output is tiny compared to the size of the engine. European's could produce much more from a Mustang engine. Also, present a Mustang with a corner and it will go and cry along with all the other American cars.
hahahahahaha oh wait you were being seroius? let me laugh harder HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH what a looooooser :D you make no sence when you talk, you might as well go kill yourself
your face is rubbish. your precious aston martin team keeps crying like little babies that they keep loosing on lemans to corvettes. whaaaaaaa whaaaaaaa whaaaaaa we are british cry babies. shove it
England don't always lose you know akulax2. I know the Aston Martin team isn't too great but isn't Aston owned by Ford? Isn't Ford an american company? now that's interesting. Whereas Hamilton, a true Englishman, is a future F1 champ.
It looks better on the road than in a studio. Trust me on that one. The Exige WILL give you ear/head/back ache on a long journey. It'd be like sitting on a rollercoaster for over an hour. For me, Europa is a top car.
Brits talk funny? Hang on, don't you mean "funnily" or do you yanks(?) always use adjectives where you should use adverbs.
the europa is for driving normally everyday, and being able to live with... the exige is a stripped out, hunkered-down, unforgiving track car that happens to be road legal.
but then again, why buy the elise or exige or europa (they all have the same interiors and seats) when you could get a Opel speedster or Vx220 which are the same only mor user freindly. and they are just an elise with a new badge and abs and an air bag.
"Brits" talk funny do they? I think you'll find we speak English propely seeing as we are actually English. See a connection? English people - English language. Not American people - English language. I have nothing against America so I'm not having a go. I just wish some Americans (and I know it's not all) would respect England.
Americans have never respected the English ever since the Boston Tea Party riot. Where you tried to sell tea to us at unbelievable prices, fuck yo tea son! Naw i'm just joking. Good stuff has come from Britain like the Lotus line and the way you think about cars, your new F1 driver that you can actually be proud of now, Hamilton, Craig David and the Beatles
Thanks for translating. I'd have never figured that out on my own. I guess I should have made a little "smiley face" at the end of my comment indicative of humor/satire. I work with Brits often, and we design racecars, and we harass one another constantly. Yes, in America we speak a dialect of English - many actually. We've made English our own. We do the same in America with food - it's called fusion. America is an assimilation of many cultures. And we love to drink coffee all bloody day long.
Also, some Canadians do the same with classic French, and OMG what the Swiss do to German (I'm Swiss so don't rag on me for that). It would be a more pleasant world if we didn't take ourselves so bloody seriously - and if we all watched more Monty Python and less 24.
Lovely car, particularly with the 225 upgrade and a bit of tweaking.

This car was such a fail. Too heavy - didn't handle well and a lack of power unless going for the turbo the old one was so much greater

That's awesome, the '72 Europa T/C is one of my favorite cars...

I Think the pore Europa Got a bit of a raw deal, as it was marketed and sold as a GT.
The Europa is infact a fun car to drive, and handels well. It is not realy a GT.
The Handeling is fantastic, the exceleration is great but not a s good as others in its class

i just noticed, the Europa has RSX head lights. Kinda reminds me like how the Aero has civic head lights too XD still a beast of a car though.

Actually, funny can be used as an adverb.
Brits pronounce letters that aren't there, as do Americans.

Funnily just sounds, well, funny.
