dont do it till you have alot of disposable money. I have a 92 sohc eclipse and a 93 talon tsi awd and i have had to do way too much work to keep the talon going. Theyre fun, but its a lot of money. So far I have about 4k in and right now i have to eliminate the balance shafts cus one of the bearings seized.

idk smaller engine? the 4g63 was a far more marketed engine than those 2 i mean it was put in the 2g eclipse and laser turbo models then put in the evo for a while in fact a different version of the 4g63 is in the hyundai sonata from i think 93 - 98 the block fits with the 4g63 head

It's a 1G.There are two 1G styles. The "1GA" models 90-91 feature pop-up headlights and a six bolt engine and the back license plate is on the bumper,while the "1GB" models of 92-94 have composite style headlights with intergrated turn signals and the license plate is up between the tail lights/brake lights

Also the 92-94s have 6-bolt engines except in 92's there are a select few that have a 6-bolt (those made before April 1992) i think. My 1992 has a 6-bolt stock.
