  • This is so stupid, in my opinion Stossel doesn't help libertarianism,

  • Stupid bitch needs a big giant 13" Dick in her piehole to shut her the hell up!

  • I can't believe my ears and my eyes, America is really losin' it man, the govt really thinks everyone needs them in their soup or what??? get rid of these politicians for crying out loud

  • "Then everyone will be thin, healthy, and have a pony." LMAOSH,IDMTAMSFO which means, Laughed My Ass Off So Hard, I Dropped My Taco And My Sombrarro Fell Off.

  • Stossel uses too kind of words, just say what they really are, Food Fascists or Food Nazis

  • This girl is a burger virgin.

  • I'd rather have a burger, than have the government shoving fruti down my throat.

  • MF get out of my life and my personal suicide by Obesity- It is my choice- NOT YOURS- F with your own life leave mine out of it- and IF you cared you would stop trying to throw legislation in to keep me from growing my own food- and letting Monsanto and the like get away with the food they grow that is really killing us - get out of rule and regulating us to death over stuff that is sooooooo not your concern and protect us from things that should be- Sincerely spouse of this Citizen's Handle

  • Now I want a triple patty triple bacon cheese burger!

  • Yo, Meme: go fuck yourself, you self-righteous twat.

  • I'll eat what I damn well please. If it kills me, so be it, but don't charge others to pay for my treatment. Free markets.

  • Wow... how callous and condescending can a person be?

  • She arguing the costs associated with being obese. Costs on government. Wouldn't the libertarian solution be to end government spending and subsidization in food and medical care?

  • Dear deluded Mimi, there is a third option other than forcing others to live by your rules or petitioning the government to force your will on the rest of America. The third option is to abolish socialist health care so that you and every other taxpayer will not be footing the bill for the poor lifestyle choices of those irresponsible citizens who decide to treat their body like a pool hall instead of a temple. Socialism and is always the real villain in any political or government problem.

  • @jeffersonianideal

In favor of what? "Free market" healthcare based on insurance companies? The kind where your insurance rates are determined by the health care costs of the people that work with you?

Shared health care costs have always existed and throwing around "socialism" as an evil word, even though it doesn't apply at all to the current system does not change that fact.

  • @mazzybijou There was a time when America possessed the best healthcare system in the world. When people could buy healthcare insurance for a fraction of what it costs now. Nearly everyone who wanted health insurance could afford health insurance. That was of course, prior to the government sinking its inept, corrupt and ineffective teeth into the healthcare system. I have no right to ask you or anyone else to pay for my healthcare. For if I do, I also have a right to your paycheck.

  • "I agree with that but..."

  • this is such a horrible person...

shes basically saying "everybody is so stupid that they will shove whatever is in front of them into their pie holes"

free market bitch!!! youre messing with peoples livlihood! and its none of your fucking business what people eat!!

  • 4:00 - Kids are getting a good lesson on how government interference strangles enterprise & destroys profit.

  • airlines are a busy, they should be able to refuse service to whomever they'd like. also, why cant we eat what we want? if somebody wants to eat fast food all the time that's their choice, not the governments

  • whoops i meant business not busy

  • why is refusing to sell a seat "discrimination". We're free to sell to whoever we wish, aren't we?

  • Read the book "Nanny State"

  • Thomas Paine once said "If you can get people to ask the wrong questions, you don't have to worry about the answers"

The question JS should've asked is "what right does the government have to take my money to give to Fat Albert's health related expenses due to obesity caused by his own actions?....Answer, "None".

Hasn't anyone learnt anything about moral hazard?

  • Iraq, as we have learned, has depots of IMF (Ingredients of Mass Fattening)!!

  • WAR ON SUGAR!!!

  • Hm..that blond fascist is not so wrong actually, she's making some good points...

  • @manoman0 Maybe insurers should be allowed to discriminate amongst we do it all the time anyway-dating, friends, who to hire, what to buy, END THE FED

  • @RunLiberty - That's the question: How much regulatory is necessary to create a fair system in insurance. Also: Does Insurance need to be subdued to "Fairness"? After all, it's a Risk Assessment System, they inherently needs to discriminate. Or, let's think it to its ends: Governement rule on who and when you date so you don't discriminate those you do not date?

  • and I live in France--- if I hear another French person say, "ça fait grossir" :)

  • People are because fast food is way cheaper than anything healthy. If you earn 20k a year can you afford to eat at Subway or spend $200 a week on groceries? No you can't. And the fact that the government wants to tax fast food is pathetic. Poor people eat fast food and a tax will make them poorer.

  • Gov. knows that. It's not about health. It's about more Gov.

  • I agree with some of what she is saying. I would like to see tax funded schools have better food. It is pretty awful. I always make my kids lunch, and teach them moderation. Also...these kids COULD still have bake sales, just not on public school property. I always wonder why resteraunt's have to have such high standards, yet there is never any standards put on bake-sales or churches. I would prefer no regulations and just let the losers go out of business, but that's just me.

  • Why they always settle for force rather than education is beyond me.

  • That burger looks so good!

  • As a Canadian I can TOTALLY see that happening on an airline.

  • I love that sexy librarian look.

  • its not just the fast food companies, its all the stuff that has high fructose corn syrup in it

if you look through the grocery store, you will see what i mean. at least 70-80% of foods now a days have either sugar, or HFCS in them or both. thats what makes us fat. compare it to 30 yrs ago we take in alot more sugars now

  • @scourgefe1nd Holy unintended consequences batman! It's because of the corn subsidies. Government should never play favorites, and the only way to do that is for them to stay out of the markets.
