I can remember Rory at Newcastle City Hall in 1974 climbing over miles of cabling, squeezing though PA stacks shaking a 16 year old lad’s hand (mine) and thanking him for coming. Thanks for the memories Rory you are a ledged.

rory was great but my fav between rory,clapton,beck , etc was jimmy page an all round monster ,his acoustic work and writing was something else.

Great to hear all the nice things Slash says about Rory - and then to hear/see Rory rip it up!!!!! Good job by the whole band. 1976 - year I graduated from high school. 1977 - year I got my first Rory Gallagher album!
