i just got this shit! went to the emergency room cause i thought it was a tumor, they told me it was just tension headaches! and Im not a headacahe person... i cant do anything cause i cant think str8! this sux
I've had chronic tension-type headache for about eight years, and nortryptilene is the best thing I've taken, up to this point. It can occasionally turn you into a zombie-like creature, but if you take it at the right time (before bed) and keep doses low, it can be extremely useful. This is coming from someone who's taken almost everything imaginable.
And others have already said this, but it's true: this case in the video sounds like an extremely mild case.
It doesn't get much more textbook than this. This is the tension headache sufferer the doctors know about. Meanwhile in the real world, in most cases, the effects of these headaches are far more debilitating than this lady has them. I guess it may only apply to the chronic cases though. But mine have driven me to the end of existance, stopped me from doing everything and anything, cost me a fortune and im still looking to get on top of them.
I've struggled with these for years. I had an episode in 2003 where I had a tension headache for 24/7, 7 days a week, that came out of nowhere and lasted 3 weeks; it was living hell. They did a head CT and it disappeared after that came back negative. In 2007 I had another episode, this time 24/7, 7 days a week, FOR 2.5 MONTHS. Nothing stopped it. I saw a neurologist. He did a head MRI, came back negative and it disappeared.

For anyone reading this with tension-type headaches, please look into NCR. It is about the best therapy I have found to date.

@scapegoat2000 You're not alone. I've had a nonstop headache for at least the last 8 years. I repeat: nonstop.

My brother had brain cancer in 2002.
