  • Nice!!!

  • the db sub05 is not so good.

the RCF Art 705 is very better and powerfuller.

Sale your 05er and buy one rcf!!!

    :-)

  • @1982biker, the Sub05s are more than enough for gigs of this size (and above). They run at less than half volume, so there's plenty in reserve.

I have RCF 4Pro series for large events, but mainly use the dB subs because of the size and weight difference.

  • @groovindj but the 310s work not in the limit hen the 05 on the limit?

    the 310s have headroom?

  • @1982biker the whole system has lots of headroom.

  • you seem to really know how to get people on the dancefloor!! GREAT JOB and GREAT SETUP :D

  • Wow soo brilliant I love your setup mate 5*****

  • nice setup mate! im currently playing with a Pioneer cdj 400 table/djm 400 and 6 x dB sub15 and 2 x RCF ART310-A.. Boom boom POW! ;-)

  • If you mean wattage, then total RMS output power is 1500 watts.

It doesn't run at anywhere near maximum volume though. I very rarely take the mixer master output past half way.

  • @groovindj heey, i have to say... nice setup man, looks like you really know how to pick your gear:p

i looked at a db technologies, set today at my local dj /PA dealer, and the sound it pumps out is just fantastic, to bad it is SOOO expensieve (over 1200euro per speaker, but that is understandable considering the quality you get.

  • Im with you with the negative comments?, just watch and enjoy the clips, more is less....

  • dude your lighting set up is not impressive at all, laser?? starship? even a disco ball?? also i used to use longer cords and set my lights up all over the room so it wasnt just lit in one area

  • Why do so many YouTubers leave negative comments?

I have loads of lighting, including stuff that I haven't even used yet.

I just choose to use only what's required rather than throw in everything I have, just to show off. Less is more.

  • yo what up? I have a pair of DB 15" opera powered speakers and I was wondering if they are common in the UK...I am in the states(arizona) and no1 believes how great they sound, every1 pushes jbl or mackeys...what do you think??? plus I want to purchase the directional stands, but they are not available in the states...anywhere you know I can pick up a pair???? thanks bro

  • dB Technologies is a pretty good brand in my experience. Very closely linked with RCF, who are excellent.

    Directional stands?

  • @groovindj well, where i live (the netherlands) DB technologies is about THE best brand you are ever going to encounter on big events (tmf awards and big concerts and stuff. i think they are really great and would love to have a set of my own.

  • hey, how would you rate the dB Technologies Sub 05's and RCF ART310-A? i am about to purchase the same speakers. how many people where you playing to and was it enough power? thanks

  • I rate them very highly. They sound much bigger than they look!

They have coped with all the gigs I've used them at so far, without coming anywhere near full output.

  • a top mixer!!!!!!!!!!!!great gig

  • Sorry just read the description, acme stormbirds, they look darn close to this one here v=rjUcepHxkKc

Could it be different name, same product? They are available on thomann, stairville is just their label.

  • To peter47a, yes they are the same.

They are probably all made by the same factory and just branded differently.

  • Are those 2 Stairville Tomahawks?

  • good show, nice setup, players & mixer.

now paul, just tell me what was that at the end, the english worm?

  • That's a traditional UK "dance" - sitting on the floor and rowing to Oops Upside Your Head.

  • Hey Groovindj, is that you on the decks, or you filming? At first glance, the guy on the decks didn't look tall enough to be you, and the side shot of the face looks like someone else, but it's hard to tell... and the voice on the mic sounds kind of like you. Anyway, so is that you or someone that works with you?

  • I was doing the filming, so it's not me on the decks. It's an old mate who helps me out sometimes.

  • awesome gig log!!! great Equpt.

  • Great video and as for the pioneer's, way over rated if you ask me. I was at a local dj gear retailer and they had a denon and a pioneer deck hooked up to the same bord and the denon felt like a much more solid machine than the cdj 800. I love the LED Panels and I'm seriously thinking about getting a couple. Thanks for the great vid!

  • great gig log!!!

  • Excellent Vid Groovindj!

Fab Rig, you have proved the point that you don't need Pioneer...the Allen & Heath mixer fits the picture perfectly...and the denon decks.

I also admire the LED Panels, better than par cans.

    Keep the vids coming!!!

  • Thanks Max, yeah the LED panels are really convenient. I have LED PARs but it's not so quick setting up four or six PARs.

These panels are just DMX linked master/slave and run on sound to light with no controller.
