we got jipped on the 3rd game, 2nd was better than 1st the 3rd should have came out on game cube, same formula ,platforming, control mumbo, give him a bit bigger role, have access to all levels from the 1st and 2nd game plus 15 new worlds vs 10 and make it like mario where you can go back and replay a level for a certain jiggie, new animal transformations and old, new enemies and old, new friends and old, new moves and old,= awesome banjo threeie any one agree?

Love this game! It's much harder than Banjo Kazooie and I've never actually beaten it though, but since it's on xbox arcade now i can try again!

On a side note, has anyone noticed that on the XBLA version there is a delay with the music in the opening cutscene of the game? The music goes out of sync with whats actually happening it's weird...

There is not any question about it; I must play these games on Xbox 360, to re-live my childhood once more. :) If anyone can answer this question, I would greatly appreciate it. Are both Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie only available as downloadable content via the Xbox Live Arcade, and not purchasable? And, is Xbox Live an easy configuration; do you have to connect the Ethernet cable from the console to a modem? Thank you.

I can recall the expression upon my face when Gruntilda's glowing, green spell struck Banjo's house, which after a bright flash of the screen ensued. My jaw immediately dropped and out came a sigh of disbelief and shock. It was the element of surprise and being of young age, the introduction to 'Banjo-Tooie' rendered me scared and was both compelling and riveting. I was concerned not of the graphics, but absorbed but by the simplistic beauty, if you will. This game was my childhood. :D

This is my favorite game, for it was the very first video game i got. :) I still play it whenever i plug in my nintendo 64. I was 6 when i first got this game so around 2001 i got this game with the Nintendo 64 in a deluxe pack. I wouldn't mind if this came to the 3DS or something... No remakes because i dislike the new designs for Kazooie and Banjo. They're so square!

in tooie, it's a lot harder, with more things to do.

instead of mumbo, a native woman transforms you into things.

instead of sitting in the skull, you get to play mumbo.

the witch has robotic, fake jinjos to give you a hard time.

there is a different mole that teaches you new moves.

the bear and bird can separate.

there are more eggs: fire, ice, grenade and clock work kazooie which is a bomb that explodes in 10 seconds

I think that's very graphic and disturbing... even as an adult, I felt a little uncomfortable watching that. mostly because the last time I checked, you can't live without a head and she's talking? going off about revenge on banjo threeie which doesn't even exist. i mean, she's dead, there's nothing left to do

I beat this game as a little kid and it hasn't traumatized me in anyway. I miss this game dearly. How can you take these cartoony graphics seriously. I was just excited that she said Banjo Threeie. But so far I've been sorely disappointed for like 10+ years now.

She didn't have any organs anyway so she doesn't need a body to live.obviously. Grunty is still very much alive and I hope she returns in Banjo Threeie otherwise her promise to pay you back will mean nothing and it will be a disgrace to the series. She clearly isn't dead, and i don't know why you are inclined to think so.

THE OPENING SONG IS SO CATCHY!!!!!!!!!!!! There should be more classical games like this. Enough Assassin's Creed or Halo.
