Nations with LEAST circumcision tend to have LEAST HIV infections: e.g. Norway, Sweden, Finland, Netherlands & Japan, which are 1-4% circumcised and have less than 0.1% HIV infection (mostly from drug abuse), which is no more than Israel (Israel has about 0.1-0.2%HIV infection), and is 95% circumcised. Google "WHO HIV/AIDS EUROPE".

The UK, Germany and Denmark (all predominately UNCIRCUMCISED) have much less HIV infection than the 80% circ'd USA.

oxy, the "experts" are far from unanimous over the claimed benefits of circumcision.  Europeans and Australians tend to be much more sceptical on this than Americans. If you google: "WHO HIV Europe", you find a country by country breakdown of HIV infection. Comparing central European countries (where men are intact) with Israel or the USA, it is hard to see that circumcision offers any protection at all. HIV in USA (80% circumcision) is worse than in any European country.

Even if circumcision should lower the risk of transmission (which is not proven), it does not fully protect you or your partners - far from it. Only a preservative does.
