Factually speaking, one cannot sing the recent music directors' creations wihout instruments. They will sound very filthy. Also the instruments alone would never please you. Factually speaking, one cannot sing the recent music directors' creations wihout instruments. They will sound very filthy. Also the instruments alone would never please you. Just one was enough though, wasn't it? Commercially, of course. Raja was not the same ever since Rahman burst into the scene. Most of his loyalists left him - even Barathiraja; and, he is no more the most sought after composer in TN. Of course, that doesn't in any way diminish his greatness. To me, he is still the best in India leave alone TN. But, it is a fact that Raja was knocked off his pedestal after Rahman's arrival.
