My dad had a 1991 Chevy Cheyenne He used it every day at work it was only six cylinders but he put it to work like crazy. I trusted that truck up steep hills more than our newest Chevy

But finally about a month ago it had a transmission problem and so we had to let it go.

@CrashJSTest ya chevys are bland thats y i like an slt sierra.but i had 160,000 miles on my 92 cheyenne when i sold it to a farmer and its still driving around after i used it on our farm. it had the 4.3 but was on my 3rd engine, had less than 170hp. not enough ass to it. my 97 sierra has 150,000 hard miles and is still peppy as ever but i am getting rid of the cats because thay are clogged. my 4.3 97 blazer has 135,000 nothing wrong with it. they just dont make 'em like they used to though.

Even though this is a Silvardo commerical, The S-10 is also one of the best trucks anyone can own. I own a 1992 Chevy s-10 pickup that I had 4 4 years and it runs perfectly. Yeah I didn't buy it new and it's not very nice looking but all that matters is that it runs good :)

One3teen is CORRECT it is damn hard to find a basic truck. all the lots i went were loading up grocery getters...not the kind that see dirt and woods. I was damn lucky to find my truck. basic w/t with 5.3 NOT the 4.8, SHIFT on the FLY 4x4 Not electric crap. Rear locker 3.73 (and stabli track) rubber mats NOt carpet to get mud, blood , and stickers on. it does have power windows and locks. I could not have set it up any better and it was the ONLY one in the whole darn area. Y??????
