  • patch adams (the guy with the goofy mustache) gives it all away, to the non profit from which he personally benefits....what a hypocrite. obviously he is bilking the system to his own benefit...the IRS should hunt his ass down!

  • 1:47 LOLOLOLOL.

    Ellsworth Toohey on crack.

  • I'm selfish and I want to keep my damn money.

    Want a crayon?

  • IF YOU PUT AN END TO THIS LITIGATION NATION AND IMPLEMENT TORT/LIABILITY REFORM TO MAKE HEALTHCARE AFFORDABLE THAN ANYONE WILL BE ABLE TO GET IT. Just do away with massive money grabbing lawsuits for malpractice and merely take away a Dr's license or sanction them for mistakes. TORT REFORM FOR AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE and ALLOW INSURANCE TO GO ACROSS STATE LINES.

  • Scary....all u need is a lil sparks then poof england or la riot. So scary....i wish these people would read history and simple economy. You have to earn it to get it and not begging. Socialsm only works when there is money. Sorry didnt mean to vent just annoyed lol

  • Obamacare was signed on March 2010 with 59% of the people disapproving according to a CNN poll. The CBO scored Obamacare on six years of coverage for 10 years of taxes, which is how the CBO showed the bill to be deficit neutral . It’s unconstitutional mandating all citizens to purchase health care. Even Pelosi said, “We have to pass the bill, so you can find out what is in it.” watch?v=KoE1R-xH5To It’s also meant to take over industry watch?v=p-bY92mcOdk

  • What ever that mattera fag says, healthcare system is a mess in america.

  • Show me a woman here who's not hot!

Jason: "Uh...right here!" pointing at the one next to him! BwaaahahahH!!!Jason you have some awesome footage right here! Great job as always!

  • send those spics home

  • The fucking US post office is going bankrupt. Medicare is going bankrupt and is full of fraud and abuse.. The VA hospitals are an embarrassment.. The government couldn't even project what Cash for Clunkers was going to cost and people want POLITICIANS making decisions for them on something so personal as health care??

  • Hey Jason, I love the edits that you made to prove your points :)

  • Point out a woman that isn't hot,

RIGHT HERE, LOL, LOL, LOL, LOL!!!!!

  • @tphenley You can always give them a crayon.

  • You can't hardly believe it until you see it. Its just crazy. Liberals and commies everywhere and they are nuts man. NUTS.

  • I dont understand the purpose of this video. More immature squabbling when the real issue at hand is health insurance companies who kill americans by denial of care. That is the real issue at hand, not this. If our healthcare system is so great, why does the US rank one of the lowest of developed nations? Why do people continue to get denied care when they need it most and lose their life savings and their home and end up in bankruptsy?

  • @nickphilly bankruptsy? wow, that's really like bad an stuff....i will help pay for your ticket to the UK...just let me know when yer thunkun of goin?

  • @firesidechet I do not need help paying of my ticket. Maybe you should save your money for your future medical bills, because after all, you're going to turn down your medicare when the time comes because you shouldn't accept medical care from the government. Right? Hopefully you dont get a costly illness which wipes out your savings, your home, and your life.

  • @nickphilly you are a perfect example of public school education....its bankruptcy, not bankruptsy ......in the same way we might expect excellent government run health care. hey too bad you couldn't ride that gravy train all the way to France?

  • @firesidechet I would love to live in France. Dont know about a gravy train though. Put your money where your mouth is. Turn down your medicare when you get to the age of eligibility and pay all of your medical costs out of pocket. Medicare is government run after all. Put up or shut up. Turn down your medicare and try to get conventional health insurance and pay all your costs. Are you going to do that?

  • @nickphilly Please Please Please move to France....I'm sure they'd roll out the red carpet for you! Unlike yourself, I actually planned for my future. I don't have any problem putting up by the way, I've been doing it for years, and when social security isn't there for me , I won't need it. By the way the way I got here by something called WORK.....you ought to try it some time. Looks like you'll have to go back and live with Mommy or mooch off someone else!

  • @firesidechet I am 26, I have a masters degree, I work, and will always work as long as I can. I graduated last year, and I already plan for the future. How dare you suggest that I do not work, or somehow sponge off people. I went to an ivy league school, and most likely have more earning potential than you do. Mooching? Forget about it.

Your immaturity for your age still does not take away the fact that people die due to the lack of medical care in this country.

  • @nickphilly oh sure, now I am impressed! and a masters degree no less? that and $2 will get a cup of coffee. its no accident you can't spell...With your naive outlook and victim mentality you'll be back on mommy's couch before the year is over. I bet you are going to take advantage of being on mommy and daddy's insurance till you're 27 aren't you? what a pussy! so long loser.

  • @firesidechet I have not been on my parents insurance since I was 20. After that, school insurance, and now insurance with my employer. Your simple minded name calling is very predictable. Thankyou.

It is conservative "christian" americans like yourself who give america a bad name around the world. It is shameful for you to think it is okay that fellow americans die every year due to the lack of medical care and accessibility every year. That is sad, and not a thing to be proud of.

  • @firesidechet Take a look at nickphilly's channel and look at the videos he uploaded. He is a disgusting fat pig and most likely a homosexual... Mr. intellectual calls everyone immature, get a load of the video of him and the megaphone, you'll laugh your ass off!

  • @imax1971 I think he really really liked them. Thats why he keeps talking about it and sending me endless comments and personal messages. Yes, I am a homosexual. I think he likes that also.

  • @imax1971 Wow, you really like to watch my videos and talk about me. I counted 9 views in 3 hours from an IP address I am almost sure is yours. Interesting.

  • @imax1971 thanks for the tip - the fat pig smokes and expects for us to pay for his chemo bill - typical liberal

  • @firesidechet More name calling. Not much of a vocab huh?

  • @firesidechet There are the middle class, or the working poor who lost their health insurance or cannot get their own. It has NOTHING to do with being lazy, not working, or mooching off people. The lack of access to medical care and health insurance is holding this country back.

People die and lose thier homes! It has nothing to do with laziness or poor planning. You are ridiculous. You can't carry my briefcase, and you can't get into the schools I graduated from.

  • @nickphilly nothing to do with poor planning? are you joking? what a pathetic little wimp you are- grow up cry baby and make something out of your life.- quit expecting the government to give you anything- the country is broke because of idiots like you. guess what ? I actually planned my future and now I have more than you will probably ever accumulate by the time you actually grow up. You better wise up son, and soon. bon voyage loser!

  • @firesidechet More simple minded name calling. Thankyou. I planned for my future, and I'm doing okay. That doesn't matter. There are still people who die every year due to health insurance companies who deny treatment, as well as people with no insurance at all. You think that is okay.

The country is broke due to a variety of policies from bush to clinton. It has nothing to do with the concept of universal health care. Not having universal care increases the deficit.

  • @firesidechet I have grown up long ago. Something you seem not to have done due to your immature name calling.

Health insurance companies kill americans. That is a fact. They do it in a number of ways. Nevermind the fact that people without insurance at all have little to no access to preventative care and follow-up doctor visits. Health insurance companies are a threat to the american family. That is not something to be proud of.

    Have a nice day.

  • @firesidechet I am getting tired of sticking up for you everytime someone calls you a homosexual. It would help if you did not get arrested on your knees behind that dumpster at the truckstop. Thanks a hell of a lot I will not look foolish sticking up for you again

  • @odamthedipshit actually you're just tired of trying to sound clever. nice try tho.

  • @nickphilly Medicare is government run, you are correct. It is also riddled with fraud and abuse. The government estimates that 70 billion tax payer dollars a year goes to fraudulent Medicare claims. 70 billion of a budget that is 350 billion!!! ! That's 20%! The government can't run a thing efficiently and you want them taking over 1/6th of the economy??? You claim that I am immature, yet I pay my OWN way through life for me and my family.. You are looking for a handout! Fat fuck..

  • @imax1971 Again, a very sad and immature message from a 40 year old man. Not sure why you keep sending me messages if you think I'm a loser ect. If I were a loser I wouldn't be worth your time right?

  • Ok, I think the guy with the mustache was kinda cool.

  • He’s not exactly undercover. He’s obviously a narrow-minded immature a-hole that thinks that liberals dress in Jamaican colors. Hmm, no narrow minded racism in that act!? That is if you’re a childish racist a-hole!!

  • "IT owns the clothes."

    Holy shit! He's a Borg!

  • @tphenley amen brother, i wish it were true. i wake up everyday knowing i have to go work my ass off cause there are millions counting on my tax dollars to pay for their welfare checks, while they sit around and reproduce many many more children.

  • YOURE THE FUCKIN MAN JASON!

  • @hoserPhalanx Jason Mattera's a dipshit.

  • @ExtremeAvalanche Grow up little boy! Some day when you have a job and pay taxes, you'll understand how the world works. Until then just shut up with your idiotic comments.

  • oh wow, the guy with the mustache was actually giving information and not spewing religious or hate filled rhetoric unlike the right wing people at their protests

  • @EstevanL LOL, that is a complete lie, like you would know anyhow.

  • Yeah! I kinda like this lazy man philosophy. I could get used to it. I would sleep till noon, cash my government check, go to the pharmacy, smoke a joint and take my Prozac before I go to sleep.

  • Does any American know that they already have socialized services NOW and have had for years?

    And which services they are?

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom Yeah and thats even more reason not to expand it.

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom yes and most of it should be phased out during the next several generations, Provided we get our country back from Obama the Dictator and his leftist socialist cronies.

  • @ert000 If it's your country, why do I want Obama as president? Oh, because MY country doesn't belong to inept little pigsqueaks who thought Bush was better,

  • Not paying for another bingo wings poor meal choices....not gonna do it

  • proof here you go a flock of brain dead sheep.baaaaaaaaaaaaaabaaaaaabaaaaa!

  • @shezza1776 I also agree that the mustache guy in this video just has to be none other than Patch Adams. According to Wikipedia, Patch Adams lives somewhere near to where this video was recorded. What a pompous douche bag that Patch Adams is. I would never trust that old filthy hippie to be my doctor. It only figures that pinko Patch Adams would rally in support of Barry Hussein's bullshit health care takeover.

  • You want a crayon?! ROFLLLL!!! Dude - Point out a woman here that isn't hot! Jason - Uh.. Right here. ROFLLL!! Thumbs up for Jason! *wipes tears from eyes*

  • yep these people are twits.....but poor old jason should spend some time at a sarah palin rally

  • Nothing will ever get done in this country because people will always seek to politicize everything and even if they don't, the media will do it for them. We will never be able to come together and get things done and you only have yourself to blame.

  • If you want free healthcare, just go to Cuba, Canada, or any part of Western Europe. Americans don't want you here.

  • the guy with big moustache says he makes a million and a half a year, like he's trying to brag about it ....where else but in America can a clown like him make even a dollar?

  • @firesidechet I'm pretty sure he's Dr. Hunter Adams. He was depicted in the movie Patch Adams with Robin Williams.

  • @lago4 well if he is, I still think he's a jerk, since he talks about making all that money, then he puts it into a so called non profit so he can dodge paying taxes most likely. he gets off on being big daddy to his commune and wants them to get free health care that he doesn't pay into. typical condescending hypocrite.

  • @firesidechet thats patch adams

  • @guitfreeky yes I know that now, and its interesting how he brags about how much money he puts in his so called non profit.....just so he can dodge taxes most likely...he just wants the rest of us to pay more....typical condescending liberal hypocrite.

  • @firesidechet Liberal hypocrite? Maybe you will change your tune when you or someone you love gets sick and your health insurance company kills you by denying care. It happens all the time, and it could happen to you too.

These weirdo commie t ype liberals do not represent people who desire a universal type system, just as klan members/racists and bigoted people ect do not represent most conservatives.

  • @nickphillyyes in many towns there are free clinics, and many churches also offer help, not to mention Shriners etc. Things are not as desperate as the media or liberals make them out to be. If you know someone who needs help, and you have the means to help, you should help them. don't expect the government to run healthcare any better than the post office...besides, people dying from dropped insurance does not happen "all the time".

  • @firesideche Free clinics often have income requirements, so lets say you make $40,000 and lost your insurance, you make too much and dont qualify. Also, I have never heard of a church paying for someone's $90,000 cancer surgery. Sorry, your very simple mindset is not realistic. We need a universal type system like all of the other developed nations have. I would much rather get sick in UK, France, Canada, or Italy then here. We are the laughing stock of the world with regards to healthcare.

  • @nickphilly i think you should move to the UK, they could use a genius like you over there.

  • @firesidechet I am well educated, and currently looking into skilled workers visas for UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. Although there are many things that I love about America, they are slowly becoming null due to stupid and backwards americans like yourself. You talk about french fries when I mention that people die every day because of lack of medical care here. What a joke. Americans are starting to scare me, thats why I'm looking to leave for awhile.

  • @nickphilly you go girl....i can hardly wait....the fewer liberals the better!

  • @firesidechet Immature thing to say, especially for your age. The funny thing is, more and more of the educated "liberals" will leave this country to stupid people like yourself who defend evil corporations and health insurance companies that kill people. Eventually, the gap between the rich and the poor, the healthy and sick will grow so much that dumb and selfish conservatives like yourself would want to leave too.

Turn down your medicare and pay for your expenses out of pocket then.

  • @nickphilly evil corporations that kill people? you really are a genius! How will our country get by without feminine little sponges like you? why don't you get back to watching The View or Rachael Maddow ?

  • @firesidechet Am I to assume you have never misspelled a word in your life? The question at hand is not that I misspelled a word, but the millions of people who lose their health insurance, or are denied payment of treatment when they get sick. It happens all the time. I would trust my health with the government over an insurance company any day.

People in this country are killed every day due to health insurance companies denying treatment. It is not a joke.

  • @firesidechet Very mature. I dont like The View, and I rarely watch Rachael Maddow or any political talk show. I do like to watch Glen Beck because it amuses me, and I love Bill as well as other bigoted homophobic conservative talk show hosts. It makes me laugh and reminds me why the rest of the civilized world think that americans are stupid.

  • @firesidechet Our health care crisis is much much worse than liberals depict. Conservatives lost their health insurance just as fast as liberals do the last time I checked. People die every day because of the lack of care either from not having insurance, to having their insurance drop them when they need it the most. People go bankrupt, lose their life savings, and their homes because of medical bills. That is sad.

If you believe what you do, turn down your medicare.

  • @nickphilly did you know that french fries are lethal? nearly everyone who has ever eaten them has died eventually. its very sad.

  • yawn

  • Look at all those lazy motherfuckers, they all want something for nothing..

get a job you pieces of shit and buy your own healthcare. due to idiot bloodsuckers like you, I have a wrenched back from carrying all of you morons and I STILL have to go to work..

  • THIS MATTERA SO CONSERVATIVE BUT HE LOOKS LIKE SAM SPARRO´S BOYFRIEND ...

  • HEY, MATTERA !!! FOR A CONSERVATIVE GUY, YOU LOOK LIKE SAM SPARRO´S BOYFRIEND ...

  • "where in the constitution does it say we have a standing army?"..that would be in the second amendment..just saying

  • The second to last person he talks to needs to read Article Two of the Constitution

  • single payer or a deregulated market. Take your pick. The center is the wrong way to go.

  • this guy is so mellow, not even funny. short sighted in one word.

  • Both sides are full of crazy people

  • This video is what it would be like for a forum troll to walk around in real life.

  • And they say the tea party movement is full of ignorant and stupid people...

  • Conservatives need to rally in 2010 and 2012 and put these Socialist Obama worshippers in the same trash heap with Stalin and Lenin, where they obviously belong.

  • Read the Constitution- guns are a right. Health care is not-sorry I did not write it I just read it.

  • @clroger4 thanks for letting us know...? im not sure why you wouldn't want health care, but i guess if you get in an accident you can just pay for it out of pocket without anyone to help you, whatever floats your boat dumbass. and there are such things as AMENDMENTS to the constitution. glad you know history...

  • They want to keep their down money!!!! Wow!!!!!!!

  • @cwharrison2004 that is not a free market problem is it. that is a stupid big government problem.

  • @clroger4 oh yeah, and deregulating and free markets worked really well in the bush era...those recessions are what our economy wants right.......oh yeah and those great bonuses and corrupt businesses such as AIG and enron were great. you are stupid

  • @GokuGohanVegetassj2 People like yourself keep us from having a meaningful conversation on this and other sites. Of course that might be your goal? The ugly loud, G20 violence, hate spewing left. Stupid- I think not, not racist or violent just longer silent.

  • classic. total classic.

  • We need more of this guy!!!

  • Capitalism doesn't work. It was against what our greatest president wanted. Franklin D. Roosevelt was working to make the United States more socialist. Our apparently second most hated president started the true capitalism movement. A Mr. Richard Nixon. Nixon and Bush Jr. are so similar it's scary. Both leading unpopular wars. Destroying the United States to the point it will take forever to repair.

  • @vajracore Capitalism doesn't work?? HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA I really do not know what to say to you except wow

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE yeah, thats why we just underwent the second greatest recession ever...pure capitalism sucks. all it does is give the wealthy more money and the poor less. if you have opened a history book like vajracore you would know

  • @GokuGohanVegetassj2 If you think we have pure capitalism then you are a complete moron.

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE I don't...under the BUSH administration and reagan administration we did have pure capitalism which resulted in many unintended consequences

  • @GokuGohanVegetassj2 Again if you think we had pure capitalism then you're ridiculous.

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE I don't................i just said that idiot

  • @GokuGohanVegetassj2 this is your quote copy and pasted

"I don't...under the BUSH administration and reagan administration we did have pure capitalism which resulted in many unintended consequences"

You said WE DID have pure capitalism. Which we didnt.

    Idiot

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE ohhhh i thought you meant under obama...ok we didn't have PURE capitalism under bush and reagan and others but it is about as close as it gets. and thats my point. that KIND of capitalism doesn't work

  • @GokuGohanVegetassj2 Reagan worked pretty good, we were in debt but he cut the debt in half in his last 2 years. Pure capitalism does work, the reason we are in the recession is because of government interference in the first place.

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE yeah maybe reagan did have a good run, but as we saw in the fucking great depression and this recession, near-perfect capitalism only causes corruption and a huge gap between the rich and the poor. im not saying become socialist, and neither is obama for that matter. what the goal of liberals and democrats is is to have an FDR style where there ARE a few programs that are on the verge of socialism but thats not a bad thing. a balance between socialism and capitalism is good

  • @GokuGohanVegetassj2 The main reason behind this recession was the housing collapse, caused by the government interfering with the banks, and telling them they had to meet certain quotas, so banks gave loans to people who couldn't afford them. Not capitalism.

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE HA.HA.HA. what a miraculous timeline you have created...the banks had to meet quotas WHEN they started collapsing i.e. giving massive bonuses and sinking into debt and giving out money to people who wouldn't pay them back. that was because there was so much corruption going on because of unregulated business. therfore the housing market started plunging, along with the rest of the economy.

the fact is that pure capitalism is based on debt, which leads to terrible collapses

  • @GokuGohanVegetassj2 Glad to see you know nothing about what happened. Read Thomas Sowells "applied economics" How about the government was corrupted and wanted to control the market.

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE George Bush wanting to control the market...ok...well try looking at his reagonomics approach for the first 6 years of his presidency. that might give you an idea of the build up of the credit bubble which was the main reason everything failed.

  • @GokuGohanVegetassj2 When he first tried in back in 02-03 we had massive growth of the economy. Then he turned into an idiot and spent like crazy.

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE well the 'growth' your talking about was only in the upper class. thats the problem with the GNP. it may show a 'growth' in the economy but you have to look at the big picture. the rich get richer my friend. and while you may believe the trickle-down policy works, the people at the top are merely taking all of it and spending less.

look at enron my friend. everyone at the top kept money. no regulations. it fails in less than a month

  • @GokuGohanVegetassj2 Thats where you have look to look at percentage changes in income by class not dollar amount my friend. The rich may have gained more in dollar amounts but not in percentage. If you make 10000 dollars and increase that by 10 percent you make 1000 more. If you make 100000 and increase by 10 thats 10000 more my friend. That is where the "rich get richer" argument comes from. My friend.

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE hahaha how many times did you say my friend haha. but i understand that they didn't gain a percentage amount more. thats almost impossible. its easier to make $8.80 than 8 dollars than it is to make 1100000 than 1000000. thats just common sense. Bill Gates can't make 10 percent of his profit in a day. but he can make lots more money due to little income taxes. Which makes the argument bias. all in all its still giving a huge gap between the rich and the poor which is bad

  • @GokuGohanVegetassj2 The "my friend" thing was making fun of you.

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE I mean I got that part, thanks. not too worried about it

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE and oh yeah how about those oil regulations...yeah not interfering in BP's business sure did work out in the end....oh wait now thousands of animals are going to die and fishermen will go broke. great job pure capitalism.

  • @GokuGohanVegetassj2 Yes because government regulation would have stopped that. You're off your rocker. Get a clue.

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE hahahah wow what a joke. you obviously don't understand that Bush had a chance to regulate the industry by enforcing a 500 thousand dollar new support that would have stopped this whole thing.

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE hahah ok whatever you say. but it would have prevented this. and by the way im 16 so saying im off my rocker is just not a good one

  • @GokuGohanVegetassj2 I'd love for you to tell me how government regulations would have stopped the spill. Let me hear your brilliant 16 year old insight. So basically you think capitalism caused the spill. That's a great theory lol.

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE haha well your right, capitalism did not cause the spill, but lax government regulations proved to be the thing that indirectly caused it.

  • @GokuGohanVegetassj2 You still haven't told me how government regulations would have stopped it.

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE I said this: Bush had a chance to regulate the industry by enforcing a 500 thousand dollar new support that would have stopped this whole thing....instead of inforcing this however he sided with the gas companies and didn't make them pay this because it was "too expensive"

  • @GokuGohanVegetassj2 Too expensive? If you force them the oil company to do that, then its the oil company paying for it, not the government. So Bush saying it was to expensive is nonsense. Where is your source for this also?

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE it wouldn't allow me to send you the link so just type this on google: matthews tracks down true culprit in oil spill mess

  • @GokuGohanVegetassj2 Again if it was to be mandated that they had to have this support that would of stopped it, it would have been payed for by BP not the government. Your link was a link showing chris mathews saying bush said it was to expensive not Bush himself saying this also. Government regulations have only made the economy worse. For example the housing collapse was caused by government regulations forcing banks to meet quotas.

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE ok well i would like to see the chronology of events but im going to end this argument. it was fun and I learned a lot haha.

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE

The oil company wouldn't pay for it, they would pass the cost on to the consumer. Have you forgotten your carbon tax mantra?

  • @LoryLandskipper My carbon tax mantra? when have I ever said anything about a carbon tax. Do you not think that companies pass on additional cost to the consumer?

  • @GokuGohanVegetassj2 as compared to Jimmy Carter? I'll take Reagan or Bush anyday even with a demorat congress. Carter and Ob are cut out of the same mold. Carter and Ob have done and doing things to this country that they both should be shot for treason.

  • @64bolts jimmy carter didn't do shit domestically, everything bad about his presidency was in foreign affairs if you would pick up a history book. I more fair and better comparison would be either truman or FDR

  • @ACOLLEGECONSERVATIVE Socialism & Democracy works. Because this system we are under HAS PROVEN not to work. Capitalism destroyed the economy in 2 years ago. We pay in essence more taxes then France but we have less offered to us. Can you example the current system to me? AND how it helps the General Welfare of the people. Capitalism is the true Communism.

  • Clearly, if we have these nitbags supporting Obama, he has to go and we need to kick these lunatics out of the country. None of them knows anything about the constitution or what our founders fought for. They are a complete disgrace.

Nothing but a bunch of freeloaders.

  • @666sigma Yes, you are absolutly right! More people lose their jobs, More people lose their health insurance and cant afford alternatives, and More people will get sick and die because of having no insurance and no access to preventive care, but they are free loaders after all.

I suppose if you lose your job and insurance, and cant afford access to a specialist and get sick then you would be a free loader too huh?

  • @nickphilly

They were freeloaders long before they lost their jobs. Gimme, gimme, gimme

  • @666sigma These bunch of bleeding heart liberals in the video are irrelevant and do not represent the millions of americans who need health care, and millions more who have insurance and end up getting screwed over by them in the end. There are many working poor, and middle class people who cannot afford or cannot get health insurance due to pre existing conditions. It has absolutly nothing to do with being a freeloader.

  • @nickphilly

You want the price of health care and insurance to come down? Stop subsidizng it. The problem is largely a result of making health insurance deductible for employers and the government shifting its cost to them. If employers were required to give this money to employees so they could go out and get their own care and insurance, the costs would come down.

Of course, we would have more self insured, but like today it is mostly by choice. Americans want a big car instead.

  • @666sigma Still does not help people who cannot get insurance on their own due to pre existing conditions. It also does not solve the fact that insurance companies deny payment/treatment for people with insurance every day. Health Insurance companies are the real death panels.

Again, these weirdo borderline communist annoying liberals in this video do not represent americans who think we need a more social system like all other G8 countries do. Not having it is holding us back.

  • @nickphilly

And you think the government doesn't deny treatment? I will take my insurance company over Medicare and Medicaid any day. I can at least sue my insurance company.

Pre-existing conditions? Life is tough. Nothing is free. Someone has to pay for it. People don't have a right to health care just as they don't have a right to kobe steak, lobster, a mercedes, a mansion and a swimming pool. If you don't like it, you can leave America or CHANGE THE CONSTITUTION.

  • @666sigma I'd take any system such as the english, french, and canadian system over american. As for pre existing conditions, maybe you will change your superior attitude once you get sick, lose your insurance, and can't get it anywhere else becuase of "pre-existing" conditions. Astounding.

It is also not unconstitutional. Hopefully you dont get sick then.

  • @nickphilly Do you understand the purpose of insurance or what insurance even is? Ok, let's take car insurance for example; you don't drive a car, hit something, THEN buy insurance and expect the insurance to pay to fix what had already happened. You don't buy house insurance AFTER your house burned down either. That would just be idiotic . By the same logic, why exactly should health insurance cover those with pre-existing conditions? If they did, it wouldn't even truly be "insurance" anymore..

  • @Cosmo1093 I am so astounded at what you wrote to have anything to say. Especially that you would bother to reply to a comment I wrote over a month ago on Christmas Day. By your logic, I hope you don't get sick, lose your job and insurance, and then have difficulty getting another policy on your own and in turn suffer due to the lack of medical care, go bankrupt, and die. That is the reality of millions and millions of americans today who have their lives ruined by health insurance companies.

  • @nickphilly Are you saying that I am wrong about the purpose of "insurance"? You're supposed to pay before something goes wrong, not after there's already a problem. I think that it is wrong for insurance companies to drop sick customers, but forcing them to covering pre-existing conditions is just stupid to do..that just negates the entire purpose of insurance.

  • @Cosmo1093 Yes, because people's lives are at stake. It could be you, or one of your family members. Your post made me very sad in what is supposed to be a happy day.

  • @nickphilly The definition of "insurance" doesn't change because people's lives are at stake.. The purpose of insurance, just as the definition, also remains the same. Medical insurance ISN'T supposed to cover pre-existing conditions, just as car insurance isn't supposed to cover pre-existing door dings, and home insurance isn't supposed to cover pre-existing water or fire damage. If the door ding, water/fire damage, or condition arises after buying insurance, THEN they are supposed to cover it.

  • @Cosmo1093 I am very sorry that you a fixated by cars instead of being angry that americans suffer and die every day by the hands of health insurance companies.

  • @nickphilly You're avoiding the argument. I'm not saying that Americans don't suffer because of insurance companies, I'm saying that what you want goes against the purpose of having insurance. Insurance is supposed to cover future problems, not problems you already have, whether it be with health insurance, car insurance, home insurance, or even life insurance. You don't purchase life insurance for a deceased person, and expect the insurance to pay, do you?

  • @Cosmo1093 Sorry, I don't 'argue' on the internet with strange people who reply to some comment I made over a month ago on Christmas Day. I went on youtube today to look up some music vids, not argue with strange 'christian' heartless right wingers.

If that is the way you feel about health insurance, it is all the reason why the US should have a universal type system like all the other developed nations do. I suggest you go play with some of your guns or something. I'm going to bed.

  • @nickphilly I don't "feel" that way about health insurance, it's just the reality according to the definition of what "insurance" truly is, which you clearly are incapable of comprehending. Must someone be heartless to understand that insurance of all kinds are only supposed to cover FUTURE problems, not problems that already exist prior to being insured? Is that concept difficult to understand?

  • @Cosmo1093 Aside from pre-existing conditions, health insurance companies deny care to people who do get sick. People who have been paying their premiums for years end up getting screwed when they actually do need insurance. Aside from medicare, The Us is the only developed nation that does not have a universal type system.

Your post reminded me how cruel, heartless, and nasty conservative americans are becoming. Again, It amazes me. Americans scare me. Otherwise, I have nothing to say.

  • @nickphilly THAT is where we need to fix insurance, as the companies are not living up to their part. However, if the problem is related to a pre-existing condition, then I believe insurance companies shouldn't be forced to cover them.

Oh yes, those greedy, heartless Conservatives! Their incomes average 6% below that of Liberals, but they only donate 30% more than Liberals! ONLY 30%! Conservatives even donate more time and blood! Those darn Conservatives are just so nasty! Blood?!? Disgusting!!

  • @Cosmo1093 If you feel that way, I hope you dont lose your job, insurance, and get sick and suffer then. We are the only developed nation that does not have a universal system. The US is the laughing stock of other developed nations who have universal healthcare, and actually care for their citizens.

Did you get that statistic from fox news or something? I doubt your claim, as conservatives more recently blocked healthcare for 9.11 responders who gave their blood. Now thats heartless.

  • @nickphilly Nope, the statistics are from ABC news. It's really funny how Liberals are completely intolerant ("tolerant" my ass.) of Fox News, always bashing it, simply because it is the one and only opposing view point to the endless Liberal mainstream media outlets... What even makes Fox any less reliable than CBS or MSNBC? The fact that it broke the Liberal media's monopoly?

You mean the same bill that was passed on Dec 22? Do you know why Republicans opposed it initially? The sheer COST.

  • @Cosmo1093 Conservatives are more much more likely to be bigoted, uneducated, and against any social progress that would give equal rights to all, such as gays and minorities. Arm yourself with a real education instead of defending health insurance companies who hold american citizens down and kill them on an everyday basis. I would much rather get sick in France, Canada, of the UK then this backwards country. Go play with your guns.

  • @nickphilly I'd say that Liberals tend to have higher levels of education simply because younger Liberals have their beliefs instilled in them by bigoted teachers and professors which are oh-so-common today. Oh please, Liberals call any opposition to them racists, warmongers, homophobes, and bigots, and claim tolerance up until someone with an opposing viewpoint comes around. And what about Liberal bigotry against religion?..well..Christianity, since they seem to love Islam.

    Then why not move?

  • @nickphilly And "defending health insurance companies"? All I'm saying is that aside from dropping sick customers, they are doing EXACTLY what they should be doing, according to the DEFINITION of insurance, which you, yet again, are completely incapable of comprehending. Plus, at least I can sue private insurance companies.. Oh, plus, tell me where the federal government has the power to instate a universal healthcare system? Last time I checked, only the states could.

  • @Cosmo1093 You sure are defending health insurance companies. Try to sue when they deny you treatment for a disease that could kill you in a month without action. They have more money and power firms then you could ever hope to counter.

Section 8 in the powers of congress. By your view, medicare and other programs are illegal and should be dismantled. Arm yourself with a real education. People suffer and die in America due to the lack of medical care. That is not something to be proud of.

  • @nickphilly Think what you want, but according to the definition of "insurance", the only thing they are doing wrong is dropping patients..even though the patients did sign a legally binding contract which allows the insurance company to do so. You don't even want "insurance", just universal healthcare.

I legitimately think that the establishment of medicare was outside of Congress's power. Plus the fact that it is running a ludicrous $38 trillion shortfall...it clearly isn't doing very well.

  • @Cosmo1093 It amazes me how heartless and backwards americans like you have become. The shortfall of medicare is mostly caused by the baby boomers, and the fact that these days most of the care is diverted by health insurance companies who receive government funds. It just amazes me how backwards and amazingly selfish and heartless conservatives are. It seriously scares me to see what has become of this country.

Tell your grandparents to cancel their medicare.

  • @nickphilly I can seriously just copy and paste my previous comments. Those who don't think it is the government's job to take care of those who cannot take care of themselves are more selfless than those who do want the government to do so. They are more likely to donate money, time, and blood. When they do donate, they also tend to donate more. Yet, you call them heartless, backwards, and selfish?

My grandparents don't live in the US, so they clearly haven't contributed to the shortfall.

  • @nickphilly (cont.)

IF the US were to adopt a universal healthcare system, what exactly would keep it from going the same route as Medicare or Medicaid? By that I mean having the ludicrous shortfalls, or adding to the total debt. France's system, which is regarded to be the best in the world, is near crisis. Canada's system is running a deficit, as is Britain's. That is even with (some) rationing of the healthcare. Do you even think that the US could afford UHC?

  • @Cosmo1093 Health insurance companies ration care and kill people. France, England, and Canada's system are no where near a crisis. These countries spend upwards of 10 to 15% of their GDP on healthcare, and their population is much better off, and much healthier than the US. If the US did not spend money on numerous military bases and illegal wars and coups around the world it could easily afford to treat it's citizens decently.

  • @nickphilly I never said England or Canada were near crisis, just running deficits. France however, according to the Wall Street Journal in an article from last year, was indeed near crisis. Estimates claim that UHC will cut the US's healthcare spending in half, from 2.3 trillion to 1.15 trillion per year. 1.15 trillion? That's MORE than the US spent on Iraq AND Afghanistan over 9 years. Guess what the income tax revenue was for FY 2008? $1.031 trillion. Do you really think its affordable?

  • @Cosmo1093 The US spends much more money on healthcare then the countries you mentioned, with much worse results. People who cannot get health insurance, or who are denied care or dropped add to the deficit.

It amazes me how stupid this country is with regards to the care of others. Read a book, read newspapers from different countries instead of getting all your information from Fox News.

  • @nickphilly Let me quote myself from earlier. "It's really funny how Liberals are completely intolerant ("tolerant" my ass.) of Fox News, always bashing it, simply because it is the one and only opposing view point to the endless Liberal mainstream media outlets... What even makes Fox any less reliable than CBS or MSNBC? The fact that it broke the Liberal media's monopoly?"

You know what's even funnier? I'm not even getting any of my information from Fox News.

  • @Cosmo1093 CBS and NBC are just as useless and dishonest as Fox News. I was telling you to get your news elsewhere, mainly from other media outlets in different countries. America is a dishonorable nation due to the fact that millions of americans suffer and die every day due to the lack of medical care, and millions more are denied care by their insurance companes and go bankrupt and lose everything due to medical bills. It is a shame, and not something to be proud of.

  • @nickphilly "dishonorable"? What are you, Japanese? Ok, what is honorable then? Adding to the national deficit at an exponentially faster rate? Currently, we clearly cannot afford UHC without raising taxes significantly, as one of my previous comments explains. Having the healthy subsidize the unhealthy or young subsidize the old? Those 2 reasons are why insurance already costs so damn much for everybody. Judging by how everything else in the US is run, UHC obviously wouldn't work very well..

  • @Cosmo1093 It is honorable to take care of one's citizens instead of allowing a culture of suffering, and death by the hands of health insurance companies. People suffer, die, and bo gankrupt in this country due to the lack of medical care. Anyone could get sick today, and be thrown off their policy that they paid on for years before they got sick. That is sick, wrong, and evil and it is allowed to happen in this country. Such an amazingly selfish and heartless post. I hope you never get sick.

  • @nickphilly I'm selfish for looking at the system from an objective point of view? We clearly cannot afford UHC without doubling income taxes (or taxing an equivalent amount elsewhere), and you clearly still don't understand the concept of "insurance".

Do you know why the US has some of the best medical research institutions and best hospitals in the world? We must be doing som
