@Lauren7569 I saw them primarily out of curiousity to see what it is that people love so much about them (and also because Muse was due to play next)...what I saw did not really help me see what 30STM have to offer that is original...they make just really average music for the most part...this was a cool moment for sure (esp for the people who got to go up there), but Leto came across as an arrogant and annoying turd..which is not really surprising given he's a lead singer of a band

@mrklompmaker Normally I would agree..but in 2010 the crowds were generally much more into it at RiP than RaR (based on the TV footage I've seen...the crowds during great bands like Cypress Hill or Alice in Chains or Editors...like dead ducks!!) Even some bands like Sportfreunde Stiller commented how much more responsive the RiP crowd was..just goes to show, bigger don't mean better!

The people at the front were having a good time and jumping/dancing around, but it was a small portion of the crowd (in comparison to the 30,000 who were there), but Leto wasn't quite satisfied with that and kept bitching that the crowd wasn't going crazy for him. 30STM are not THAT well-known a band, and that the next band was the headliner, MUSE.
