Anonymous is not a cult, its complete freedom of speech. Its the freedom Americans were granted, and other countries as well. not only that there are memebers that simply don't care, and dont't participate. No one forces you to join, or has to pay any money to the collective. They don't believe in an entity, or all mighty being either. And not only that Anon has been at war with Scientology about a month before the first video was put onto youtube. The creed has been around for years too.
Anonymous has no idea about what scientology is. The followers are only repeatging what they are told and what they choose to believe. Thay act in a brainwashed way.
anonymous is not a cult, we meet none of the definitions of cult. especially since we are neither a religion nor formal organization. besides, a cult substantially changes how members lives their lives, anonymous, at least for me, has not. have a pleasant day.
also, we do lots of research from many sources and check our facts, so we do have a rather good idea about what scientology is. please don't throw accusations like that around so casually.
we're not robots or followers, we are mass. we change and shift as more opinions and ideas are introduced, and we try to act on them as we see fit by, above all else, our own sense of morality and ethics.
Repeating what these want you to, acting like robots. The way you guys have been fooled is almost embarrasing.
"We are mass".
Indeed, you have lost your individuality and ability to think for yourselves. Exactly what the one's who created the first anti-scientology video hoped for.
you're talking about an organization that staged the single biggest infiltration of the United States Government ever as though its on par with Buddhism or Judaism. Also, you misinterpret the comment "we are mass" anonymous is an organization without hierarchy. Your amount of say as anonymous is directly correlative to the effort you put in to communicate your ideas on our views and actions and help plan our modus operandi, but only as long as you act anonymously. We have no leaders except ideas
You did not address any of my facts, or made a factual statement. You repeat everything you say, and are a waste of the internet.
What wars did anonymous start besides this one? I haven't been told to believe anything, nor do I always believe what I am told. I searched up all of the facts on google, and made my own decision.
And please define a Cult for me becuase it seems Webster has a different definition.
He can't, he is lost in a maze of disjointed ramblings of a madman, no sense no logic, ie. anonymous starts wars, I mean give me a frikken break, throughout history people knew exactly who the war starters were with very few exceptions. The problem here is that we obviously have one of the higher educated Sci's, who would basically fail just about any world standard except some of the jungle tribes in SA, who are still smarter than most of us though they may not be aware of world history. fkem
Most anon around here know more about scientology than any OTIII's, its fee and out there.... oh, we don't have to ask where to look either, sure there is some bogus shit out there but, we can go find out, you can't or won't, lose lose either way.... Sorry about your luck Mr. downstats.
How can anon have "followers"? There is no one to follow, only the you, the me and the I.
I have no leader. Though I have listened to advice at times, and also ignored it as it suited my personal views. If anything it is the exact "opposite" of a cult.. but a chaotic non-organization based entirely upon the individual. Perhaps that is why we are so offended at the abuses of scientology.
You comment shows that you see what you want to see. By "followers" I mean that you are following the robot videos. The one's who created the first one's with directions on a specific for protesting and vague yet upsetting upsetting messages about the CoS would in this case be the leaders.
Anon's then follow these instructions in a way that remonds of nazi germany in the 30's as well as the structure of a destructive cult.
@hajarc Having been "in" Scientology for 30 years...and escaped out...and spoke out 8 years before Anonymous arrived, and picketed with Anonymous, talked with them, thoroughly enjoyed their videos and
persistence at exposing the abuses of C of $, while having fun (also helps people "in" wake up, by the way)---
You saying they're "just following instructions" is totally the pot calling the kettle black. Here's the dividing line:
Will you talk WITH the SPs? Answer: No. Will Anonymous? YES~! :)
I see you actually have used helvetica is this! I can almost read this without getting a headache!

ANON is not a cult you pervert!
tryonthis 3 years ago 2
Yes it is.
Anonymous is a cult following the instructions from a robot voice
and worshipping the internet.
Their followers act as hypnotized while repeating their robotic leaders silly slogans.
Anons are an easy lead tool for religious haters. They believe in what their leaders preach and are therefore a cult.

Your sense of morality and ethics?
Big joke!
Anon's are being used by religous haters.
Repeating what these want you to, acting like robots. The way you guys have been fooled is almost embarrasing.

deplume,
Who started the "war on scientology"?
It just simultaniously happened?
Anonymous are fail because the only information they have for making decisions is the internet. Internet is full of lies and desinformation.
You have started and are fighting a war based on lies. You are used by religous haters. Therefore you will fail.
You can not win simply because you are wrong.
Time will show.
"Biggest infiltrate on the US Government"?
Sorry You are talking about psychiatry.
