  • Who cares if the movie had gay undertones in it? Bunch of homophobic idiots making stupid comments like "at least there were no dudes smooching in it" ... so what if there were?... people are so stupid sometimes I swear.

  • You're right, I like this part of the saga. I think it's one of the most dark films of Elm Street

  • this one was the dark side of freddy and it really brought the evil side out of him!

  • yeah, this movie sucks ass. I love the part when his dad is like, I know wat he did, he used a god damn cherry bomb!

  • The Remake can burn in hell I never seen the remake it a descrase to even think about remaking it but recasting Robert England FUCK YOU HOLLYWOOD...Anyway this is one of my favorite freedy films

  • Huh, I always thought Wes Craven directed all the Nightmares?

  • @dobbins2550 no

  • @dobbins2550 Only the 1st one and the 7th one

  • what's with that blinking '2'? haha!

  • I liked this movie ok but the only thing that really bothered me was all the gay undertones

  • This movie gets a lot of flack. It's not the greatest, but it's not bad either. This is the last Nightmare that Freddy was portrayed as a dark, evil killer before he became more comical.

Nightmare 3 had it's moments, but you can tell where the series was going as Freddy seemed less evil in the following sequels.

  • Classic! this is brings back so many great memories! Thanks for posting!

  • I recently watched this one again with some friends, and I never realized how GAY it was. I don't mean gay, like the movie sucked. The movie is good. I mean, this movie has some seriouly gay undertones in it.

  • That's why this is one of the best sequels of the series.

  • The film is fucking terrible. The morbidly interesting gay subtext (tho Im not really sure if you can call it a subtext it's so prominent) is the only thing in it's favour.

  • Ah well,I may not be a fan of the idea of one being gay but that didn't bother me. I mean there were no dudes or a dude smooching in it,etc.

  • @LusterOfDarkness

are you a fan of black ppl? Mexicans? Women?

  • ya I think that true too it do have gay undertones too I just seen it again to so I do hope they talk about the whole thing on the doc never sleep again that is coming out so they can tell us a little bit about why that is and how it did become a little gay as you say. its funny as a kid seeing the movie you really did not understand what was going on but now that we are older we now get it I was 11 win I seen this movie so now I am 30 so I get it.

  • @MegaVolcano Yeah I noticed that as well. I never noticed it when I was younger but it is so obvious now.

  • @MegaVolcano Yes, the screenwriting for the this film did put in some gay undertones in it, even though the Director have no clue about it

  • Awesome

  • I love the old 80s tv spots with the voiceovers at the end.

  • i know lol!!! like the whole tv spot had a creepy narrator and at the end a ''now showing at a theater near you'' pops up with a very happy one!! hahaha

  • The 70's TV spots were scarier IMO..."The Exorcist", "Beyond the Door", "Magic", "It's Alive" (even though that movie was rated PG...go figure!)...

  • the best and only great sequel of the series:)
